Rut-Row even Democrats are starting to have had enough. I have never understood why the left so prostitues itself defending the Clinton's as they throw everyone under the bus to protect themselves.

Panetta: Intelligence Committee Needs to Look into Clinton/DNC Dossier Payment

Former CIA Director Leon Panetta said that the Senate Intelligence Committee is going to have to look into the Clinton campaign and the Democratic National Committee (DNC) for funding the controversial Trump dossier during an interview on Thursday.

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Panetta how it was possible that neither “the chair of the DNC and the Clinton campaign” knew about payments for the dossier.

“Well, it’s obviously something that the Intelligence Committee is going to have to look at,” Panetta said. “You know, knowing presidential campaigns, they’re big operations and somehow the left hand may not know what the right hand is doing. And that could be the case here.”

Panetta continued, “I really do think that the committee is going to have to get into this, determine just exactly what happened. Who knew what and when?”....

Go for it. Someone may have lied to congress or failed to report it. Those are the only possible crimes I can see

Washington FreeBeacon hired Fusion GPS to do opposition research on Trump.. They are funded by a big anti-Trump hedge fund guy named Singer. When Trump got the nomination they dropped the research and the DNC picked it up.

    What's up with Panetta?

Evidently opposition research is common even in local political races.

Christopher Steele's firm Obis is a private firm NOT a government.. and Steele is British and a well known and successful spy.. He was hired in April of 2016 by the guy who owns and runs Fusion GPS.. (I'll think of his name)

Washington is a hardline conservative website that was anti-Trump.

It's gone far beyond undermining an election, it has undermined the WH, it's turned Congress into rabid dogs and it's turned the country upside down.

He's a foriegn national with ties to Russia and yes Fusion was acting on behalf of the DNC and the Clinton campaign.
Suddenly collusion to undermine the elction is OK it seems.

A private firm is not a country.

Fusion was funded by Paul Singer to stop Trump.

Trump's opposition research was funded by billionaires Rebekah Mercer and her billionaire father, Bob, among their key benefactors. For years, the Mercers have sent tens of millions of dollars to conservative politics and causes, ranging from well-established think tanks, such as the Heritage Foundation, to organizations financing anti-Hillary Clinton movies.

That typical opposition research information would draw the attention of the Trump Justice Department Special Counsel is hardly surprising. In fact, if it might afford him relevant information, he would be remiss in not scrutinizing it and determining the credibility of whatever he finds to be pertinent to his mission.

    It was the middle man.

So what he is not the GOP and it had nothing to do with Steele, a foreign national, and ties to Russia and information from the Russian government.

Were they foreign nationals and was there collusion with Russia? Why do you keep bringing up specious points?

Steele is a Brit and has a private company in the UK that was hired by Fusion GPS.. The UK is a US ally.. They were paid for information. It wasn't money laundering or bribes or crooked real estate deals with Russia. Nobody failed to register as an agent for a foreign government or LIED on their security clearance.

He went on to produce a series of memos that alleged a broad conspiracy between the Trump campaign and the Russian government to influence the 2016 presidential election on behalf of Mr. Trump. The memos, which became known as the “Steele dossier,” also contained unsubstantiated accounts of encounters between Mr. Trump and Russian prostitutes, as well as real estate deals that were intended as bribes.

Lil Debbie Wasserman Schultz says she didn't know anything about payments to Oppo Research. Podesta from Hillary's campaign says he didn't know about any funding for oppo research either.

One of those 2 are not telling the truth or both of them aren't telling the truth.

    You decide.....Fair and Balanced.

    So what?

Let them investigate until their ears turn blue.

    Who cares?

If a crime was committed then it should be prosecuted.

Lil Debbie and Podesta don't recall any of that. Lil Debbie has troubles already and the Demos don't really need her. Now Podesta, his brother is a Big money bundler for Hillary. So they won't want to lose Podesta.
