The President does not report to the Congress they do not oversee the President anymore than he oversees them. They are COEQUAL.

He was investigated because of ties to the Trump campaign over phony claims of Russian collusion, his problems were his own not Trumps. Where was he charged with collusion with Russians?

I appreciate your comments, although I find ample reason to challenge my own 'smarts' ( :roflol:) every day of my life. Hey, I'm an old guy... not nearly as old as Biden, but old enough to say often enough, "Now where the hell did I put __________ (fill in the blank)". :omfg:

Biden has clearly 'lost it', and it's so obvious that the only thing the hyperliberal media can do is try to just totally ignore it... kind of like the old tale by Hans Christian Andersen about "The Emperor's New Clothes".... In three words: it's not working.

As far as a contest between Trump and Biden about corruption goes...? Trump has a lot of baggage, and there's no denying it, of many different kinds -- in truth, I doubt that many billionaires don't have a lot of it also. You don't get über-wealthy in this country by being a sweetheart! But just the sheer, mind-boggling, and OBVIOUS corruption involving ol' Joe and his sonny-boy, Hunter, in Ukraine, and in China, makes Trump look like a bumbling amateur.

Please, let me be clear. Most of what scares the hell out of me about Biden is not the worry that he'd be a drooling, incoherent embarrassment to the nation, but rather -- it's the rotten, America-hating machinations of the Democrat Party apparatchiks 'behind the throne', who would be pulling Joe's strings and carefully controlling everything he does! I don't care, honestly, if Joe and his kid conned foreign governments out of millions of dollars, or if he milked 'the system' out of even more by leveraging his political power -- but the kind of creatures he would have around him as president makes my skin crawl and turns my blood to ice....

agreed this is apples and oranges, biden, obama, clinton, etc...were in a cabal of hardened criminals.

President Trump uses his powers mercifully for people who have repented of sins,

he is a great President because he is more like a Protestant than a jew, catholic, or muslim

This is y supposition. But presidential pardons far outnumber clemencies (except for Obama)

I don't think lying under oath to Congress is "ticky-tack."[/QUOTE]Does this means you think DOJ ought to push heavily for conviction of Hillary, Clapper, and Brennan? They lied under oath to congress -- in Hillary's case as attested to by Comey under oath -- and they are great big fish, not little goldfish.

I do and that's why for the first time in my life I support a Democrat for President.
I've seen a lot of people with dementia and Biden isn't one of them. He has a speech impediment that causes a stammer.
    Trump needs to go.

No, because the DoJ has no chance of getting a conviction.

You just brushed right pass my point with no care. The framers clearly wanted congress to have no -- as in zero, zilch, nada -- oversight powers over the president himself, which means they have no investigative authority. Supreme Court rulings, using in part the Federalist Papers, have affirmed congress' right of oversight over the executive branch limited to only compliance with legislation passed by congress... period.

You say "the right" but don't you mean the party that incessantly tries to overturn the 2nd amendment, modify the 1st amendment, misuses the 25th amendment, wants to end the electoral college, now wants to pass laws against presidential pardon power, and runs roughshod over the impeachment clause -- the Democrats -- are the biggest threat to the Constitution?

Absurd, especially the part about Trump being a "great President." He completely blew the response to the coronavirus.

Good luck changing the constitution with a law!

Isn't that much like saying we are going to outlaw guns? Oh wait, that pesky constitution protecting us all from Democrats like Pelosi!

Yes he did and an actual trial would have put any ridiculous denials, questions or opinions to the contrary to rest. Pelosi shirked her responsibilities.

What? This response is like drunk dialing. It would be really be sad if that is the way you think the branches of government and The Constitution work without being under the influence.
