Perhaps you think to much. You certainly think you know what the book is about without having read it.

Thank you, and let us know what you think? The only place you could probably post it is on the CT forum, though I don't believe it is CT, but mention me ( @Patricio Da Silva ) so I'll know you posted it.

I made an assumption that it was not science fiction. If I was wrong then I apologize.

Let me ask you a question.

And just go along with me for a moment.

You have two books before you.

1 One is a good science fiction book.

2 The other provides compelling evidence on alien contact with humans which could reveal what their agenda on earth is.

Now, assume the above is correct, which would you rather read first?

FYI, books are not evidence, only possibly recordings of evidence.

It is going to require a significant amount of of sensory data before anyone could possibly accept any of this.

Well I believe to the extent that it does exist, it is simply to maintain secrecy and thus power over those they rule over.

The science fiction book. There is no compelling evidence of alien contact. Just stories.

There is a third possibility. That is we are not alone but the distances are so great we will never encounter each other. I think that is the reality. It is the only one that makes sense to me.

That isn't the point. The point is for us non-scientists who have the luxury of holding an opinion based on a plethora of compelling evidence, we may do so.

Compelling is the point, not 'proof'.

OTOH If there beings that can overcome these vast distances they would be able to escape our detection fairly easily. OTOOH if they are here why don't they just tell us? Surely they have nothing to fear.

I myself won't believe they are there until one lands on the White House Lawn, like this.

I would say they don't escape detection if one believes blips on a radar screen are extraterrestrials. Is there life elsewhere in the universe? Common sense says yes. Will we encounter that life? Science says no.

More than 3, there are possibilities that one planet may have visited earth only before we were here and now no longer exist.

If there are as many planets as they say (more than there are stars and that is 100 billion in this galaxy alone) than there MUST be other intelligent beings and statistics dictate that quite a few of them have been around for a lot longer than us.

And some of them must have made it here. Maybe not as themselves but as robotic beings who could explore forever. Distances would make no difference to them. Or maybe Einstein's limit is easily overcome.

But this leads to Fermi's Paradox. If there are so many of them: Where Are They?

The solution to this I like is that they're here. They just disguise themselves. Maybe they're even shape shifters

One thing about beliefs is true. You can mold them into anything you like.

I asked you a hypothetical, and the hypothetical assumes the two statements are correct.

Now, there is nothing that forces anyone to answer a hypothetical, you either participate or you don't.

Your answer ignores the second parameter.

So, just say you don't want to participate.

Of course you're not buying it. Just as you kid yourself into ignoring what Pompeo said about the CIA lying and cheating and stealing.

You don't buy into Brennan and Clapper perjuring themselves in front of Congress, but they did.

Humans in denial are a dime-a-dozen.

When it comes to federal government pronouncements, independent thinkers understand the federal government lies as it pleases, while conditioned thinkers have been trained to believe known liars.
