Yea, its why all these pro-socialism/communism schools teach heavily revised history that omits the fact that even in socialism there is a wealthy class (and of course lots and lots of death). Difference being that in capitalism anyone can become part of the wealthy class (case in point Mr Hasan the con-artist) whereas in socialist and communist structures access to wealth is strictly limited to the elite ruling class and there is never vertical movement into their ranks.

but yes, many Businesses do not support Trump or Bernie, they both bring uncertainty and some divisiveness

Democratic politicians say one thing and then do another. The reason that AT&T, Comcast, etc., supports the Democratic Party is because the Democratic Party protects their business interests. Nancy Pelosi is in TIGHT with big business. She helps to rig the system just the way big business likes it and then buys a shitload of stock and is a GUARANTEED winner. Joe Biden has been doing the same thing for DECADES. Now his son is freaking Picasso. And you vote for them, right?

 

I agree. Standard of living is overrated. Our quality of lives isn't what's important; what's important is the quality of lives of our Democratic masters.

I doubt that "all" of them do it. I'm pretty sure the FBI would be all over a Republican that was doing it. In any event, we would get better government if we had congressional term limits.

By the textbook definition of socialism, it doesn't exist and has never existed. Socialism entails the "means of production" being owned equally by the workers. Where has this been implemented?

 

They don't. So your point is moot from the start. But beyond that, the democrats claim NEW TECH because liberals invent the world. They are the movers and shakers. They brought us the information age and they are changing the world. So of course they support Democrats. They are driven by ideals.

 

Neither has capitalism. There have always been regulations.

No real system is pure capitalist or socialist. All real systems are a hybrid of both concepts.
