This week Trump has both called for the seizing of guns without due process and in full recognition that this is a violation of Constitutional rights (on video, filmed at the WH with a dozen+ witnesses) and the implementation of Philippine style death squads. Do you still support him?
Meh, Trump doesn't have much say in it. He does have an opinion. I support him. He has fought well in the face of this overwhelming onslaught from the MSM, Congress, Antifa, radical fourth wave feminism, BLM, Russia, NoKo, and more. It's natural for folks to quit under such pressure. There are more good folks out there. Believe it. They will be as brave. Don't let all the rhetoric get to you. You have to step back once in a while and take a look from a distance.
Trump says some stupid stuff. I usually stop believing him about when he opens his mouth. Always I am looking at his actions not his words. His actions have been less destructive then I would have thought. In fact his supreme court appointment was a very positive action. But no I do not support death squads or taking peoples guns.
Haven't heard anything about death squads, but if it were to kill 100,000 drug dealers I would support it.
So...you support the 2nd but not the Constitution? I say we simply give the drugggies what they want...replace NarCam with Heroin and when they O.D. give them their final dose of what they wanted. Cheaper and permanent fix to a difficult problem. Eventually....No More addicts and no more helping them be the problem.
Until anyone that disagrees with the government or gives the police a hard time suddenly become drug dealers and end up dead.
No customers, no dealers. The demand creates the dealers, the Mexican drug cartels, etc. Humans, some of them have always liked drugs. Goes back to primitive man. It is human nature to want pleasure, and to escape from pain. Battling human nature is a losing war. And yet for some reason, our ideals create stupidity on this issue. The intelligent way forward is to not battle it, and yet no one ever learns a lesson from Portugal. Not surprise. The idealism of anti drugs will not allow it. I didn't vote for trump so will not respond to the OP.
You'll have to explain the death squads. He isn't taking any guns away. Congress has to do that. That's not easy.
Like it did with the repeal of prohibition? We have history to consider, and what happened with that drug. Right? lol
He called for taking away guns on video to which even the Dems present reacted in horror. He's also suggested taking a cue from the Philippines regarding the Drug War which means death squads.
I don't drink alcohol. It is a drug, in a sense, but it is still sold in small quanitites as moonshine. Nothing like it once was. Illicit drugs are not the same.
I dont see how this would cause anyone to change their mind. Trump advocated for Stop and Frisk during the primaries. Seriously were these people not paying attention? It isnt as if his position is that much different from then to now. Also, this policy exists in Washington state and I am 100% on its side. The constitution says the people have the right to bear arms but it also says well regulated militia. It isnt like free speech were the government may make no law that prohibits free speech.
Maybe you should get out of drug smuggling. I say that because I can't see another reason to be so fearful. This is the paranoia that sometimes happens with the use of marijuana. No one is going to send death squads into a shop selling pot. No one is sending them anywhere, but some would like to do that. There are no death squads. There are laws which aren't enforced and folks who intend to do their job and enforce them. Always has been that way.
no I do not. Attacking the 2nd is a cardinal sin. It simply is a line that should never be crossed by any president much less one that ran on the premise he would defend it. Hes no better than obama was in this. How disgusting it was to hear this.
Trump says stupid things. The "onslaught" has only been on his thin skin and sensitive ego, and it's all well deserved. As for quitting, Trump would be doing us all a great service if he did.
Yes, murderers believe in such a thing. I would rather prefer people who want to own other people, their bodies, their consciousness, to die a fast but natural death. From stupidity, which is what this war on drugs produced. I see people like you as much more dangerous than people who use drugs, as man has done for our entire history on this planet. For you demand to own others, to force your own beliefs upon them, by murder, as you mentioned. The most basic freedom is to own one's own body and consciousness. Without it, the other freedoms are easily taken away. By tyrants.
Booze kills lots of folks. You can get hooked on it. You can overdose from it. It kills brain cells, like the other drugs except for Cannabis. It is a drug. People use it at their own risk. Just as they should have the right to do with any drug.
Sorry, that trope is not going to convince me of anything. I don't want to be a burnout. I don't want the paranoia. I don't want to be hooked on it, like many I've known. Apparently, some don't mind.
