Not quite the event I was hoping for, but better than nothing.

Yes, that's right, I've been waiting for the day when a licensed gun owner turns the tables on a pack of thugs. We've all seen the videos and read the articles. This predatory mob behavior which occurs in our society disgusts and angers me.

Hopefully the victim in this case won't be victimized a second time by the "justice system", and hopefully "teens" in Philidelphia, for a short time at least, will think twice before acting like predatory pack animals.

I would say make a movie about it, but what good is a vigilante movie without Charles Bronson.

The surveillance video should prove guilt or innocence, although the left will side with the Kids no matter what’s on the video, because they hate guns & love criminals.

He obviously wasn’t trying to kill them because they were all shot below the waist.

 

I don't 'look forward' to such events. It is rather sad that it is even necessary, but for the defender, it turned out better than it might have if he was not armed at all.

 

Interesting that he shot all three in the legs/butt. I wonder if that will help bolster "self defense" ---- because he could have killed them all.

Maybe, lol. But if he were aiming for "center mass", you'd think he'd have succeeded with at least one of them. I don't know, for some reason it stuck out to me that all three were shot in the legs/butt. It doesn't sound like he was shooting to kill, nor does it sound like he was shooting wildly ---- I mean, all three, shot in the legs/butt?

 

I'm very surprised this hasn't happened sooner. You reap what you sow, and sometimes that is going to cost your life.

 

That is why I carry insurance from USCCA. If I every have to take someone's life, I'll be protected.

 

Insurance that the state of New York requires, but will not actually allow firearm owners within the state to obtain on the basis that it will encourage criminal behavior.

Shooting to maim creates legal difficulties. If it goes to jury, the prosecution will claim 'if you truly feared for your life, you would not have bothered to try to merely injure them.'

The result is that many self defense classes recommend shooting to kill, firing until the weapon is empty and pissing oneself to eliminate doubt of 'fearing for ones life.' Its unfortunate that we must all must play the hysterical out-of-control victim to avoid persecution for self defense, but that's where we are.

We've known for decades that bad Democrat policies were creating a monstrous society of thugs and criminals. Did we stop it? No.
Fast forward an entire generation later where respecting your elders is spit upon, slugging an elderly person in the face is considered a game and criminals make up such a large part of our society that they are frequently released for many reasons none of which benefit society.

More liberal judges means more people will be convicted of felonies for SELF DEFENSE. Yes, you heard me. You can and likely will be found guilty for defending yourself.
