I'm sure plenty of men would disagree with what you find to be beautiful personally. Besides, like I said earlier, there is a difference between being acceptable or decent looking (like Ms. Florence Colgate - who I think is at best "cute") and being awe strikingly beautiful. Usually, women who are considered "beautiful" have something unique about them.

    - - - Updated - - -

So . . . you do not find her to be beautiful, but a lot of other men do. That there proves that beauty is NOT objective. If it was objective, that would mean everyone in the world would find her to be beautiful or not beautiful.

I never claimed F.Colgate was "awe strinkingly beautiful", I just posted her pic to prove symmetry is one of the objective traits of beauty and since everyone, and you too, in here agreed, I managed to prove my point.

"Cute", "hot", "handsome", "adoreble"...Damn you women have alot of labels to define a persons appearance. What on Earth is the difference between all these?

Considering someone is "unique" and therefore being attracted to them sounds an awful lot like romantic attraction to me.

I never said "yay" or "nay". I just said she has a masculine face. :p

I think you're wrong. We may all find the same face beautiful, but that doesn't mean we're all attracted to it.
Our purpose is to recreate. Big breasts and wide hips = baby making goodness.
The classic model's pose is to have your feet and knees together, making your lower half narrower, accentuating the wideness of the hips. See below.

I've already showed that we don't all find the same face beautiful. Lol.

Unique features, like striking eyes or very full lips, a fantastic body, etc., and not just your average looking face (which may be cute or may not be cute) is what I mean.

So you find masculine faces to be beautiful, huh? Oh boy. Why don't you just admit that beauty is NOT objective. Beauty is in fact in the eye of the beholder. While a lot of people may find certain traits beautiful, not everyone will agree on that.

Those are few of the objective beauty traits. Haven't you read any of the posts in here?

Hell no. I already declared my preferences a few pages back. :)

    Beauty is in biology.

That woman surely has something amiss with her chromosomes. While she is certainly striking - in fact, handsome - she looks nothing like a female. I can only assume that men who find her attractive have ... ahem ... orientation issues. Does she have a penis?

I've never heard a regular male say they like big boobs and a big butt. Weird. I've heard trashy types, old men, and rednecks say it of course, but they're not counted :)

Chris is mixing up Bunchen with her compatriot Lima, Adriana, who at least has feminine features. :)

No. We all know Jessica Alba is beautiful ... even that black man you refer to will likely acknowledge it. We all know Brad Pitt was beautiful, whether we fancied him or not.

The difference is that not all of those who acknowledge a particular beauty will be attracted to it. Brad Pitt at age 35 was stunning, but not attractive (to me). I KNOW he was stunning, I can't look at old pics and pretend he wasn't. But I experienced no 'longing', if you will. It was like looking at a beautiful sunset, nothing more. Benecio at age 35 though .... phwoarrrrr :eyepopping:

None of this romantic and/or sexual attraction changes the fundamental fact that these two people were/are stunningly beautiful in the eyes of 99.9% of those who look at them. That very primitive, biological imperative to seek symmetry and health is unchanging and universal.

I've talked to plenty of women who do not find Brad Pitt attractive. There are plenty of differences in opinion when it comes to beauty. To say we all have the SAME opinions of what is beautiful is nothing but silly and narrow minded, IMO.

    - - - Updated - - -

I'm not the one who is "mixed up" here. Lol. There are plenty of differences in opinion on what is beautiful and what isn't.

    - - - Updated - - -

I never found Benecio attractive, so there you go! :D

Your opinion does not matter. It is "IBO", that is in biology's opinion. :D :D :D

    Just one.

Jessica Alba is cute, perhaps good looking, but not beautiful. IMO.

As you can see by your own thread, people disagree on what is attractive and what is not attractive. Them's the facts. Deal with it like an adult.

WTF does "cute" even mean? For men there is only attractive and unattractive. A kitty or a child can be cute, not a woman. Alba is objectively beautiful. :)

No. Most people on here know it is objective. It is just you and dairy who are making a scene for no reason at all.

I've been around longer than you, and I know that different people may have different ideas of what is beautiful. Everyone has differing opinions. You need to get out more, I think.

    - - - Updated - - -

So . . . why does it bother you soooo much that what you find beautiful may not be what someone else finds beautiful? Why do you insist that everyone must be in agreement with no differences in opinion on what is beautiful? I find this very curious and odd. Seems as if it is a kind of an obsession for you. Why?

Now you are pulling the "you are young and stupid"-argument again. My response is still; age does not matter even infants can spot beauty, as has been proven by studies. :)

Age and experience do account for a lot, sorry to say. Infants like a face that is animated. They don't recognize "beauty." If that were the case, infants would be unhappy when they had contact with people who are less than what is considered attractive, but that is CERTAINLY not the case. I raised two infants. You?

It is clearly you who is bothered by the fact that beauty is objective and that I find curious and odd, so why?

Besides I already told in the opening pages I used to be semi-BDD and learned the hard truth- some people are ugly.

Do you know what good looking means?
    Is good looking, beautiful?
Your assignment has been to learn what objective means. You've failed.

Do you know what IMO means?

That's not true at all. I have a friend who is less than attractive, and she used to put her face in my son's face, and say "look at the big ugly face!", and he adored her.

You have no idea what you're talking about.

    - - - Updated - - -

I didn't say some people weren't ugly. I said not everyone agrees on what is beautiful.

He is not much more than a little boy. He doesn't have a clue about real life. He needs to get out and experience life before he acts like such a know it all. Lol.

Wait, wait, wait. Hold your horses! "Less attractive" you say. Hmmm, thought you did not belive in that kind of stuff.

I like evolutionary psychology. All I say is based on the studies of that field unlike your pathos, emotional BS. :)

Then no one is ugly either. If it is subjective, none of the two really exist.

Why don't you quote where I ever said "no one is unattractive." I've never said those words. I said that what people find beautiful is NOT objective. Different people have different opinions. If beauty was objective, then everyone would have the same opinion, but they do not.

From where I sit, Ritter seems like the wise old man.
