Now now, don't inflate what was reported, stay within the confines of realism please.. You tend to stretch things to over accentuate what real ;)

Was your plan to get back those weapons the Taliban was showing us back in 2017?

I didn't forget. Did you? The Taliban has had a constant flow of American weapons for years. I agree. Let's not inflate what the news has reported. They have been showing us pictures of stripped Mraps, Humvees, a few out dated drones, and large stacks of small arms.

We've been seeing those stacks of small arms for years. That's the point of the 2017 link. So the media shows you a picture of guns today and tells you they were left behind. Yeah, but when? Where? You think all 600,000 infantry weapons they are talking about were laying in a pile in a hanger somewhere undiscovered until 2021? Not likely. Likely media got wind that over our 20 year mission we sent over 600k that we didn't bring back with us. There's a good reason for that. We gave them away. Could some have been left in storage? Sure. All in one place? Doubtful. All within our reach? No way.

I see. The fact that the Taliban has been posting pictures of American weapons for years is irrelevant. Your point makes so much sense now.

So in the past the Taliban propaganda machine posted pictures of large caches of American weapons acquired during battle. The response?

Now that it's 2021 they only tell the truth on their instagram page, apparently. Weird how honest they suddenly became now that they are so close to a complete expulsion of US forces.
