A great deal of the matter stems not from actions of either state or federal government, but rather from rulings by the united state supreme court itself that have empowered law enforcement officers to act in the manner that they do, and get away with what actions that they do. It is the united state supreme court that has determined there is no right for a private citizen to refuse to comply with an order made by a law enforcement officer, or resist an unlawful arrest, or commit any number of other actions that one would reasonably engage in if they felt their life or well being was at risk.

Even if state or federal level governments take efforts to overrule the united state supreme court through enactment of legislation that renders the ruling in question moot, the united state supreme court can simply overturn the legislation and render it nonexistent.

If one is a law abiding citizen and that means complying with the orders of law officers among other things who are backed by the might of the government behind them, its not hard, and incidents of bad police have lawful and proper channels to deal with them.

Indeed they do not. Even in examples where an abuse of authority was egregious, in almost all cases the law enforcement officer responsible for the abuse is found by a review board to have done nothing wrong. At best any admitted violation of civil rights is found to have been unintentional, or the result of poor training.

I offered the "survey" for the purpose of gauging the response and how far away from civic duty and responsibility this nation has gone.
As for the police giving orders, the only time that a person has to, by law obey a police officer is if they are either engaged in something criminal, or are under Legal Order (an order from a judge such as eviction, custody, fine / penalty). Outside of this, a citizen and/or denizen has the right to ignore the police. We do not live in a monarchy nor a totalitarian nation, i.e., police state so to render your God given rights to another is dangerous and foolish and establishes a terrible precedent. I am a man of Freedom and Liberty and I refuse to relinquish my birthrights to to persons who are of no more importance, ability, stature, and position than I am. To be honest, people have a right to respond and interact as they please, myself included. I refuse to be ruled over and surrender my freedom to others. For centuries, that battle over freedom has been fought and I will continue this fight, even if it costs me everything.

If you choose to ignore an order issued by a law enforcement officer, because you believe it is unjustified, you will be ordered to turn around and put your hands behind your back, because you are now under arrest for failure to comply. If you still ignore the order, or simply take too long in complying, you will either be forced to comply through the application of significant physical force, or you will be shot and killed. That is how the matter in the united states works. All private citizens, be it yourself or anyone else, is legally devoid of a right to ignore orders given by a law enforcement officer, no matter what the circumstances of the situation may be. Legally your only avenue of address lays with the courts who will determine for themselves whether or not the order was devoid of legitimacy, long after the incident has occurred. Look for any recent rulings by courts at any level, and you will find nothing to suggest otherwise. The courts in the united states have long held that private citizens have an absolute duty to obey any and all orders issued by law enforcement, because no private citizen has the ability or even authority to determine for themselves whether or not an order is legal.

Show court cases that hold otherwise.

All of which amounts to nothing. If you refuse to comply with an order from law enforcement for any reason, you will either be beaten and arrested at the very least, or you will be shot and killed. Those are your only available choices, comply or die.

I am already aware of the fact that if you ignore a cop, you will be arrested and charged with multiple crimes, which are basically make-up or fabricated crimes to legitimize the arrest. At the same token, the Prosecutor or A.D.A. will back up the cop and even add charges or give the cop or cops the charges to from the start, this is not freedom this is totalitarianism with a side-order of authoritarianism. I have a serious problem with this entire affair but because people, who are nothing more than anything but that which is good, play along with the creeping totalitarianism that is currently in place in these United States of [North] America there is nothing that a lone Man such as myself can do but resist the onslaught of this system and type of governance in “The Land of the free”.
Are you aware that the police, prosecutors, governors, representatives, presidents, senators, mayors, town council members, city council members, town executives, county executives, and the like are only supposed to be part-time and not careers? Look up the foundation and histories of all of these positions and it becomes extremely clear that the systems of government and governance that are in place now, are not authentic and are foreign entities? This all began back in the late Nineteenth Century, with the Robber-Barons and Magnates. These United States are no longer what was intended with the foundation of this nation; that “America” is a thing of the past.

Short of complete and total dismantling of government at all levels, and starting over from scratch, nothing can be done about the situation in the united states. If such an approach was taken, it would easily be the bloodiest, and most violent coup the united states has ever seen in its history. Countless hundreds of thousands, if not millions of individuals would have to be killed to get to that point, as it would require removal of not only government workers who may be corrupt, but also private individuals who agree with the actions of said corrupt workers and officials.

It will be admitted, such was not known.

And when, pray tell, did this change occur in the united states? Under which presidential administration did the shift begin to unfold, and how did it go unnoticed?

As I stated, it was in the late Nineteenth Century, circa Eighteen and Nineties (1890s).

You're missing another choice: It already is a Police State.

You are NOT obligated to comply with any illegal police order, however, not doing so is at your own risk. And if you survive such dissent, the kangaroo courts usually decide in favor of the Police State. Welcome to Amerika, land of the free.

The Constitution implies it, at least for the legislative branch:

Article I Section 4 Paragraph 2: The Congress shall assemble at least once in every Year ...

The founders put that in because they believed that otherwise most representatives wouldn't even bother to meet.

I intentionally did not include many options of choices, such as "I worship those in uniform" , "I have a fetish for blue" , etc.

    The highlighted statement is false.

A citizen can refuse an unlawful request.
Key word: compliance with a lawful order.

If a LEO orders a person to strip naked and submit to sex acts, a person need not comply, and such a request is a crime, and can be resisted by lethal force if need be, with no charges.

Law Enforcement personnel are subject to Internal Affairs oversight and are not immune from prosecution for criminal acts.

A private individual does not have the legal ability to pick and choose which orders are unlawful, however. Such a determination is ultimately for the courts after the fact.

    Not true.

A Police Officer cannot legally rape anyone or commit sodomy under legal definition of statute law.
Anyone can resist such an attack with lethal force if need be as defined in the penal code of every State.

States hold the authority to dictate the required response to a police officer by citizens. Many states, if not all, have statutes to this affect on contempt/failure to obey. Citizens who are victimized by the unlawful actions of police have legal options to seek redress. Police are a very necessary part of civil society, if someone doesn’t like the inconvenience then they should move to a less civilized country.

Which does not change the fact that failure to comply with an order is a crime in itself, and an arrestable offense in itself.

    Not always.

If a Law Enforcement Agent asks you to Rob Banks or commit Murders or other illegal acts, you are not obligated to comply, and if you did comply, you would be prosecuted for those crimes.

Why would you ever need or want to refuse to comply, though?

An innocent person has nothing to lose by complying, in the knowledge that a misunderstanding will be revealed fairly quickly. It serves nothing and no one, and especially not the work of eliminating crime (you know, what the po-po do), to refuse to cooperate on some puffed up principal. We should be happy to do our part. It's our duty to each other as citizens, to assist in reducing crime.

I must ask ... why would an innocent person, who has no contact or association (of any kind) with crime or criminals, be 'victimised' by police? What already overburdened police dept would wilfully allocate precious resources and manpower to the 'victimisation' of innocent people? For no apparent reason?

Refusing to commit a crime because a Police Officer is compelling you to commit a Felony or Misdemeanor or lesser crime(s)
And conspiracy to commit a misdemeanor is in fact a Felony.....

You're not making any sense. Since when have LE officers been asking people to commit crimes?

Sure it is, but it's FAR FAR worse in all those 'libertarian' nations. Which do you prefer?
