The overthrow of Trump was began as reported on January 6 of 2016 when Obama released the lies about Trump to the media.
Democrats began the overthrow almost the day Trump took office.
No need for you to keep defending the lies by the Democrats.

I stick to American history in denouncing Democrats.

I would say that came down to the wire.

Given success on Jan 6 it could have left us with top congressmen and perhaps even the VP dead and our election process terminated.

Throught his presidency, Trump pushed hard and reasonably successfully to end the checks and balances that are our defense against a president becoming a dictator.

I'd also point out that when we help emerging nations become democracies, we do NOT allow them to use our system. Instead, we push for parliamentary systems. And, the reason is that our system is too close to allowing for dictatorship to emerge.

    Yet.

Like I said, he wasn't able to get the second term which was a necessary part of his seizing dictatorial powers. In South and Central American countries, the coups are often planned for years. It rarely happens all at once

Nice theory. Too bad there’s no evidence of anything like that.

Republicans stole the SC, as they say, pay back is a bitch, now they will lose the SC, had they played fair, they would of still controlled the SC, the judges would just not of been as far right and they would have one less judge

Can you explain how they stole the SC?
RBG said that a president is elected for 4 years. Scalia died 269 days before an election and RBG died 46 days before. Does that mean that he is elected for 3 years and some number between 96 and 319 days? Does Congress lose their power at some point in the middle of their term? At what point does the president, or Congress, stop having power during their elected term?
Can you please back up your explanation with the Constitution please so that I can follow along. TIA.

If RBG didn't want a conservative judge to replace her, she should have retired. She was greedy and thought that Hillary would win. Really, she's the person that screwed the Democrats on the SC.

Which rule or breach of 'fairness' did Republicans break? What they did was perfectly Constitutional, which is a criterion more and more disregarded and pushed aside by the 'woke', radicalized Democrat Party.

Which "far right" votes have been cast up to this day by SJ Justices Gorsuch, Kavanaugh, or Barrett...? What? Not even ONE...? :evileye:

Compare THAT with the votes that hyperliberal Obama-appointees, Sotomayor and Kagan cast as soon as they possibly could!

they lowered the votes needed to seat a SC judge to 50

    what rule will democrats break

see, the answer is none in both case.... but I think we can both see, neither were playing fair

what dems will do is 'perfectly Constitutional' as you said

if the rules allow it, must be ok right?

    Yeah...OK

The right in this country is now led by Donald J Trump, and he is best know for trying to overthrow the government on Jan 6th.

Trump was beaten by 7 million votes...his personal Attorney is currently under investigation for soliciting help in the 2020 election form a foreign government. It was proven in 2020 that the Trump campaign did share polling data with the Russian GOVERNMENT in the 2016 election. Oh, and that little party in Washington on Jan6th where they wanted to overthrow a free and fair election....

Yeah, Republicans hold the high ground right ?

We must obey the Constitution EXACTLY AS ORIGINALLY WRITTEN AND AMENDED, or, amend it further... so, yes, I agree.

Nevertheless, I would remind the hyperliberal, 'woke' Left in this country that not even their great ancestral demi-god, Frankie Roosevelt, was successful in trying to pack the court -- and in doing so, he further exposed himself as the overbearing tyrant that he was!

Prophecy: if Biden really tries to pack the Supreme Court, he and his handlers will lose both the House and the Senate, after which he'll have to rule as Obama did -- with "a pen and a phone", issuing presidential proclamations and other 'decrees' -- which will be thrown out by the next president anyway....

There's no way you can rationalize this, Freshy.... Here are the FACTS:

Justice Antonin Scalia died, and was replaced -- one for one -- by Gorsuch.

Justice Anthony Kennedy retired from the Supreme Court, and was replaced -- one for one -- by Kavanaugh.

Justice Ruth Ginsburg died, and was replaced -- one for one -- by Barrett.

But now, Biden wants to invoke the deliberate, conniving meddling used unsuccessfully by Democrat president, Frankie Roosevelt, back in the 1930's -- and simply ADD as many new "Justices" as he needs to cram his liberal catechism down America's throat!

It may work, for a time... but in the end, the Democrat Party will wish they had never done such a thing.

We already knew the verdict of this case before it happened. It doesn't matter how many drugs he was on or how many times he's been arrested.
Every single American saw the kneeling on the neck.
That's pretty much the case right there.

Yep -- and the tragic thing is that Floyd might have gotten away with his passing of counterfeit money if he hadn't had a drug-crazed reaction. Typically, the cops arrest these perps, then they're booked, released in a day, don't show up in court afterwards, get arrested later on, and then the charges are just dropped or otherwise dismissed, and that's the end of that.... Who has time for this penny-ante crap when there's so many worse crimes that boil-up out of the 'Black Community'...?

Bottom line: Floyd SHOULD have gotten stoned out of his mind on drugs AFTER getting back home from his little rip-off excursion!

all replaced by 50 votes, because repubs change the rules, dems could have stopped repubs from seating judges too like they did Obama had that not happened

so dems can change the rules too, and take back the court

Obama would have got one more judge, repubs would have still controlled the SC, republican got greedy - or they could of done to Trump like they did to Obama and give Biden the pick for Ginsburg - either way republican got greedy

Mark my words: anything other than "one-for-one" replacement on the Supreme Court is going to cause the Democrat Party more destruction than any of you can possibly imagine. There is a point at which being nauseated turns into a big puke explosion... but, sure, go right on and cheer as Biden and his creatures pack the court.

It will be useful for even the stupidest, most oblivious of Americans to see -- point blank -- what the radical wing of the Democrat Party is REALLY trying to do to this country. And nothing will make that more obvious to all of us than Joe Biden packing the Supreme Court!

Republicans, as I've already pointed out, replaced Supreme Court Justices ONE-FOR-ONE. What Biden proposes, on the other hand, is simple, obvious, heinous COURT-PACKING, and even the most dull-witted among us can see that plainly. Why can't you...? Because you don't WANT to....

they change the votes to 50 as I already pointed out, they cheated, so now dems will as well, the rules allow both to play dirty, so there ya go

repubs never would have got the needed 60 votes... thus dems could have done to Trump what repubs did to Obama on his pick - repubs stole that seat
