MLK wasn't very popular when he was alive. -> https://news.gallup.com/poll/20920/martin-luther-king-jr-revered-more-after-death-than-before.aspx A commie who aided North Vietnam and was a useful idiot of the Kremlin. MLK loved sex and sex orgeries ("Where the white women.") CPUSA had to approve all of MLK speeches. It's true... Just declassified in 2017. https://vault.fbi.gov/Martin Luther King, Jr./Martin Luther King, Jr. Part 1 of 2/view https://vault.fbi.gov/Martin Luther King, Jr./Martin Luther King, Jr. Part 2 of 2/view
Whatever Martin Luther King was he had a powerful message I believe to be even more true today. “Now, I say to you today my friends, even though we face the difficulties of today and tomorrow, I still have a dream. It is a dream deeply rooted in the American dream. I have a dream that one day this nation will rise up and live out the true meaning of its creed: - 'We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal.” A message the Democrats have never embraced but has defined the Republican party, sure we had some rough years on and off but it's up to us Republicans to take the higher ground. We shall only solve racism when we stop calling each other white, black, whatever and just call each other what we really are just people. Before Morgan Freeman sold out he knew it to be true
That's why the Republican Party fights for open borders and has 50% women representatives ... cause they feel people are just people and there are no differences or labels to divide them.
Whatever the reason it's still a Republican message, the Democrat message is race, race, race and race. With added race and sprinkle of toxic masculinity
Yeah, there will likely be a DJT Day in America in the near future. A national holiday on Donald J.Trump's birthday. His approval ratings like MLK will reverse except Trump will have a 98% approval rating.
Black people need a hero And the historians have anointed king Even with his many flaws, 100 years after obama is forgotten MLK will still be respected
MLK was a creep. He was busted for plagiarism, cheated constantly on his wife and really was nothing more than a lucky black man who was in the right place at the right time to catch the tide of the Civil Rights movement. People needed a leader in that time so they PICKED him, he didn't earn it.
MLK was an open socialist/Marxist who supported affirmative action quotas. A society that has done something special against the Negro for hundreds of years must now do something special for him, to equip him to compete on a just and equal basis (MLK, Where do we go from here, 1967) If a city has a 30% Negro population, then it is logical to assume that Negroes should have at least 30% of the jobs in any particular company, and jobs in all categories rather than only in menial areas. (MLK, 1968 Playboy interview) No amount of gold could provide an adequate compensation for the exploitation and humiliation of the Negro in America down through the centuries…Yet a price can be placed on unpaid wages. The ancient common law has always provided a remedy for the appropriation of a the labor of one human being by another. This law should be made to apply for American Negroes. The payment should be in the form of a massive program by the government of special, compensatory measures which could be regarded as a settlement in accordance with the accepted practice of common law. (MLK, Why we can't wait, 1964) In a sense, you could say we’re involved in the class struggle.” (MLK, Quote to New York Times reporter, 1968 ) There must be a better distribution of wealth and maybe America must move toward a Democratic Socialism. (MLK, 1966 speech) Call it democracy, or call it democratic socialism, but there must be a better distribution of wealth within this country for all God’s children. (MLK, Speech to the Negro American Labor Council, 1961) You can't oppose progressivism while considering him an American hero. Pick one.
Assuming that is sarcasm; I do believe that is the first time someone admitted to be for open borders.
There is a tide in the affairs of men. Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune; Omitted, all the voyage of their life Is bound in shallows and in miseries. On such a full sea are we now afloat, And we must take the current when it serves, Or lose our ventures. Shakespeare You can say that about Caesar, or Napoleon, or particularly Trump
Anyone here maybe, but this board is far from being the world, or even dominant thought in the US. https://www.google.com/search?q=the...&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8&safe=active&ssui=on
There will be sales on wall materials at hardware stores and schools will hold students away from their parents. Elections will be held where the loser wins. Hispanics will be rounded up and thrown out of the community, Fun for all.
I don't see how. Progressivism believes in all the things that make America great. It was an American invention. It largely IS American values
