Celebrations and dancing that are spreading a deadly virus during a global pandemic, you mean.

All of sudden, social distancing and avoiding large crowds no longer matter to liberals.

You're not wrong. These types of gatherings will cause some community spread. The photos I saw were outside and more folks were masked than not but it's still risky. Especially since the warm temps here on the east coast are going to move on after a few days and folks will be back to being cooped up inside, so any spread that happens from these impromptu events will then multiply much harder once that happens.

I can understand their jubilation completely. If you're not a Trump voter, you're going to be overjoyed that his term is ending. But COVID-19 is still serious and these parties will probably spur new infections.

 

We've been hearing the left blame the covid deaths in America on Trump for many months now so it's ironic that Biden supporters who are gathering in large groups to celebrate and all we are getting are lame excuses from the left as to why this is ok. Don't worry, we knew it was all political but it's fun to point out your blatant hypocrisy.

 

But will the media harp on them as "super spreader" events? Bet not.

While I don’t think it’s the best idea to have mass gatherings during a pandemic, I think you’re ignoring precautions that are being taken. These celebrations are happening outside and the vast majority of revelers are wearing protective face masks.

As we saw with the protests over the summer, this environment with these precautions are not likely to result in substantial virus transmission.

 

Looks like a Superspreader event to me.
