Boycott away. It is your right to choose who you give your money to, even if you're boycotting a company because they won't broadcast your fake news channel.

The fascist snowflake trump is trying to cancel AT&T for making a free-enterprise, capitalist, commercial decision.

It is AT&T that started it and it’s time for conservatives to fight fire with fire and also create a parallel economy in the process.

Oh no. This will surely put them out of business the way Trump's boycott of Goodyear tires sunk that company

AT&T made a a free-enterprise, commercial, capitalist decision. And you want to cancel them for it.
Trump is such a fascist, cancel- culture snowflake.

Those niche channels are probably all part of a bundled package sold by some big content company.

Anyway, boycott all you want. Newsmax viewers are less than 1% of Direct customers. AT&T would have moved them to an upper tier package and passed the cost along if they felt there were profits in doing so. Traditional cable and satellite services are steadily losing market share. People aren't going to tolerate much of a price increase. The only reason companies like Comcast/Xfinity can get away with bleeding people is that they have monopolies on cities' cable lines.

It's a contract dispute and Newsmax was asking too much. They thought they are a network. They are not. There are only 4 basic networks out there: Fox, CBS, NBC, and ABC/ESPN/DISNEY. CBS and NBC own multiple cable stations as well as Fox. It's business, nothing more, nothing less.

Don't you know? It's fine when they can make money off you, but if they have to pay and they don't want to, they think the same rules should not apply and thus use socialism/communism tactics to distract from their business failures.

These types of contractual are ubiquitous with cable service providers. Not surprised any Trump cheerleader would turn into a woke Karen and make it a political issue.

Newsmaxx did not pay anything. In fact, when ATT/DirectTV added them to their lineup, they did not have to pay a dime and ATT supported them. Now that they are established, they were getting the standard deal they have to pay to help ATT/DirectTV to help defer their costs by putting on the platform. They still got all the money for adverisement on their channel but had to pay the subscription fee to be on there. They refused and did not budge. Hence why they were taken off the platform.

Even The Hill disagrees with the OP.

When Trump becomes POTUS again, he will shut down all media outlets that try to indoctrinate Americans with leftist ideas.

It will finally be true freedom.... like in Russia.

I’d really like it if he went back to the wwe or whatever and let someone who could win in 2024 step in.

I've had directv for 10 yrs. I live in fairly remote area otherwise I would like to switch to streaming tv.
I don't pay attention to what news channel there are, I don't watch any of those faux news which are really 24/7 reality tv.

It's as though, if there's nothing to whine about, there's no reason to live for some.
I hope I never get that old.
