This time the national media is not leaving any room for doubt that they could care less about the average citizen/family.
Rachel Maddow, for example, usually just makes me laugh. But lately, I've grown to dislike her BS to the point of being annoyed that she is using propaganda while so many people are truly in need of factual honesty.

This may be an actual decisive turning point in the war against the Progressive Establishment Elitists that have made such a mess of the country.

 

It is indeed possible. I suspect that none of these propaganda outlets earn a profit from what they label 'news' but that they exist because certain corporations are investing in the ownership of the means of propaganda. But how much of a profit are these supporting corporations willing to lose year after year after year and do so while the Dem Party leadership act like clowns and keep costing their viewership numbers and thus revenue?

 

Thats why they are tuning in-because Trump has the top experts right there.

Its funny for 3 years the Trump haters said he didn't do enough press conferences.

Now he does them daily and Trump haters say it shouldn't be covered by the media.

 

Indeed-except now instead of going to a Trump rally-Trump comes to you in your home each day.

And it seems to be working well.

 

WRONG.

Trump is just using these press conferences to blow his own horn and insult reporters.

His "presence" adds very little (if NOTHING, at all) to the actual subject of the Virus Updates.

Given the choice between him and a guy who needs his name and address on a bracelet so he doesn't get lost, the choice is not too difficult....

 

His virus updates are always good data that is up to date-and he has his panel of experts to back up and clarify.

People don't trust the media (even dems) which explains his rising approval from dems and independents.

Recall that even during Trump's rallies, 20-25% of the crowd were democrats.

Based on his handling of the press meetings, & his many attacks on the press itself--& especially female members of that press--& his frequent changes of emphasis in the way the pandemic is being handled, plus his continual refusal to have the federal government take control of this global issue & our response to it, I don't get the sense that Trump really cares personally about the health & welfare of the general public. I get the sense he cares about the economy & how he fares in the public ratings on a personal basis. The way he rejected expanding the already existing Obamacare system to treat the poor & uninsured who contract the virus, is a severe illustration of Trump's lack of personal concern for the lives he regards as less than.

 

I join most Americans in applauding the top experts & their daily news updates, but Trump himself often disagrees with them in that same news conference. I'm simply saying, pay attention to the experts & the science, & ignore the mindless ramblings of Trump himself.

That video is almost worth it's own Thread, given how Biden cops of hiding when he gaffes. This is far worse than a mere gaffe. This is Trump actually boasting about how much he knows concerning South Korea. He tried to belittle the reporter, embarrass her, one up on her, prove to her how much smarter than her he was, and shot himself so badly in the foot. Idiot.

SADLY, Trump's Egregious Mishandling and Lack of "Leadership" has given his political opponents a lot of Ammo to attack him with.

Trump is a DISGRACE.

There will be a lot of Unnecessary Coronavirus Deaths because of Trump's failure to take it seriously (from the start) and calling the Virus a "hoax".

 

Trump and the rw media will have killed a hell of a lot of people - likely tens of thousands. That will slowly sink in. Give it time.

 

Just as long as it "sinks in" in time for Trump to go down to a Catastrophic Defeat in November.
