Hello everyone, first post here. I figured I would start out with a video of this guy, that has a pretty funny and outrageous take on gun control. This guy makes many valid points throughout the video. I do not understand how anyone could argue with this. Especially toward the end when he talks about other countries would see us as weak if we were a disarmed public. He is acting like a gun control advocate, and being sarcastic obviously. Can you find anything wrong with his arguments?
Video is fine for those who have converted their PC to a TV set. Many of us are on dial-up, so we can't know what you're trying to show us here.
I have wi-fi and it sucks. I am thresholded at 16 gigs(and three users), so I cannot dl this video until Wednesday at school. Tried Hughesnet, but it just didn't work out for us. It was worse than dial-up. If you have a problem, good luck getting someone who understands English. So many times we have called with issues only to hear chickens in the background.........worse than crickets
A 20 minute video as your substance for a thread? You may want to copy-and-paste your thoughts, as so many do.... or narrow down which portion of a video you want people to watch. No thread on this site is worth 20 minutes of someone's time. .
maybe, maybe not. You have set yourself up as a representative for the rest of the forum...... where's your police PC badge?
In the less technologically advanced rural (country) areas, when your only option is DirecTV or Hughesnet, satellite internet... many people choose dial-up instead. For good reason. On the plus side, the lack of cable will keep the countryside from getting too populated. I had to pay a lot to get the nearest cable TV company to run 100/Mbps lines run to my home. .
Yeah, it really just depends on the provider, and this guy's location. It may not be available or too expensive to have them run it to his house... only he would know. Many utility companies won't run special lines to an area if there aren't enough customers to use it.
then your statement should have read, "I don't find it a good use of my bandwidth" Do not assume you can speak for me.
