1. I felt the need to post about it because it it very typical of the way right wing media plays its audience by ginning up innocuous comments from obscure people in order to push their agenda.

2. False. Thanks to the many right wingers who fall for the sort of trashy blogs and posts like the one in the OP, I get an ongoing look at the way right wing media works. And since walking trash like this back to its source in order to find out who is behind the curtain and, thus, what the agenda they're peddling is.

Of course, as often as not, these sort of little posts are intended to manufacture outrage (even better if they get parroted on forums like this one) for the purposes of attracting eyeballs for fundraising purposes. Fundraising takes three primary paths. One is the direct solicitation from the blog. Much more common is the ask to follow or attempt to capture the reader's contact information, which will then be resold to right wing political operatives and K Street public relations shops (this is NewsMax's primary source of revenue). Finally, there is the promotion and sale of various right wing screed from people like Jerome Corsi, Sharyl Atkisson, Ann Coulter and the like.

3. I really don't care what someone I never heard of, and won't likely ever hear of again said on Twitter. It doesn't matter.

Also: Yes its hard to find a single gangmember killing 10 20 people at a stretch. Its not hard to find multiple gangmembers killing a fairly high number of innocent people daily because they either get off firing into crowds, have a "kill a random person" initiation ritual, rob someone, rape someone, then murder them etc. Quantity has a quality all its own you know. There are FAR more gangbangers killing innocents (gangbangers and innocents of all races, creeds, nationalities etc) than there are crazed whacked out white democrats killing innocents.

Well the school handled this according to protocol - I'm pretty sure there's some protocol about blatantly racist public statements from staff, esp. with a paper trail.

No. To have people in her position inflaming this issue should not be tolerated. At where we are today, the last thing we need are people who will inflame this. This is no different than some white teacher using a broad brush to paint the blacks in a particular way, and that should never to tolerated either.

We have lost our minds, if a defense goes up on the side of this teacher. For she was sprouting lies, and lies should never be tolerated. What if a white teacher was teaching that the problem with blacks is that they are conditioned, all of them, to be bums, parasites, confidence men, who will do more work getting out of work? We would not tolerate that from a teacher, and we should not tolerate what this teacher was saying either. God, we need sanity right now in this nation, and I ain't seeing much of it.

That's where the Orwellian doubletalk comes in - at the same time they're shaping your perceptions, they're trying to hide the reality and the true facts. That way, you always have to decide based on partial information - which means you have to rely on your perceptions (you have to take your "best guess").
