Simply because those on the left are for the most part more educated than those on the right.

On the other hand, I am an independent, for I will not be a member of the existing tribes, for it requires one to set aside one's ability to be half ass objective, rational and reasonable. And I will not be enslaved by hate and emotions. Which they currently are, just as we saw the same when Obama was president from the brain dead right wingers, who had voted against their own interests for decades.

Then I will ask your sir if there is an online forum where an agnostic(as it pertains to this destructive left, right, tribalism) like myself can read and post? Here, it seems to be split down the middle, where people will never change their opinions nor minds about their beliefs. You could literally destroy one of their tribal beliefs, with fact, and it makes no difference at all. Almost like their brains just shut down, and thinking is not an option, and you get replies that is parroting someone else, which allows their denial to live on. Not just the left but the right too. So, if you know of another place, I can go besides here, I thank you most kindly in advance. Where more people than not have intellectual honesty and integrity, and don't act like juveniles in verbal behavior.

 

They work in union, contractor, edu and LW lobby PR departments, mostly public unions like NEA or SEIU, and repeat talking points in places like this while not writing articles for the monthly newsletter. Probably lots of Huffpuff bloggers and such here also. It's obvious as they merely repeat the advertisements, graphs and factoids over and over in their threads, and never reason or form coherent policy statements. Their writing skills are abysmal and reasoning capacity near nonexistent. Also, groups like David Brock's "Shareblue" post to places like this, but are far more prevalent on reddit. If you -really- want to see where the LW paid posters hang out, go to the main reddit politics areas. Lots of them working facebook as well.

I do not know if there is similar paid shilling from the right or private sector, but would love to see evidence of it. The big difference is the private sector doesn't have the free revenue to waste on political messages as opposed to marketing messages, whereas the gov-edu-union-contractor-grantee-ambulance chaser-MSM Complex's revenue and power generation is higher and higher taxes, not voluntary transactions. This is why their main, most repeated lie narratives revolve around wealth/class resentment. They have a massive counterweight to battle in the public's general resentment of central taxation.

EDIT: Oh, and btw, whereas they allow the most egregious LW shilling and substanceless trolling here, this particular thread has a half-life of about 20 minutes. Rest assured they are all banging the report button on it furiously as if we don't all realize full well what they are and what they do here.

Did you mean professionals in employment or professional purveyors of spin and deceit? Professional left wing faux liberal democrat propagandists? Well if that is the question, sure, some are professional looking in their propaganda posts, but most are just average americans voicing an opinion, mostly with vulgar and uncivil manners. I can remember when people would have never talked like this to others, even if they had an internet in the 50s and early 60s. That is the rotting of culture in a most classic way. When words, that once mattered along with personal conduct, was much different than today. Yes, I was alive when FDR was still alive. As a baby of course. I never thought I would see such a demise of culture in my life time. I even thought the hippies and the love culture would make us even more civil, less divided, but alas, all it gave us was promiscuous sex, single mothers and irresponsibility, along with the culture becoming more vulgar and uncivil. You see it illustrated here from moment to moment.

That is because all I have seen are rings and cages for tribal wars and skirmishes. And I guess your reply also says no such forums exist? What a pity. One wonders why someone doesn't create one? Perhaps this is an idea that The Intercept will jump on one day given they just moved into a podcast. The Intercept is able to indulge in journalism, serious, and don't care which party they report on using journalistic principles and integrity. It is like some of the information outlets of my youth. While most of those reporters back then were democrats, you could not tell it by their reporting. I think you can still find some of them on you tube and it looks nothing like MSM or FOX today. The difference is not subtle either, but it will slap your hat off.

So, I guess I will have to tolerate what we have hear and the rest of the net. If anyone else knows of a rational and reasonable forum where serious people muster, by all means chime in.
