Psaki responds to reporter on immigration

I only heard the one question and it was about taking accountability for what was happening at the border. Psaki probably should have expounded on what she said.

I think press secretaries are worth ignoring. All of them. Their job isn't to inform. It is to defend. It has been that way forever with the possible exception of Tony Snow.

 

Trump was impeached twice and acquitted twice. And he's still legal to run again in 2024. I I bet most socialists are still more afraid of Trump than they are of the covid virus.

What will be remembered about his acquittal is how many of the people that voted to do so simultaneously said he was guilty. So bravo? Partisan sham acquittal with a bipartisan impeachment.

It could possibly be called a response by the uninitiated, but it didn't come within a million miles of an actual answer..... though maybe a good Biden answer.

You like her response? What response was that? The part where she pretended to not know about the surge that has hit the border because of President Biden's refusal to enforce immigration laws that are already on the books? Or maybe she does not even know that the Biden Administration reinstituted a policy from the Obama Administration, that President Trump took heat for. That policy of putting immigrant children in cages.

It would seem to me that the only thing that you like is a lack of response while attacking a former GOP President. Pathetic!!!!!

 

So, how should she have answered the question?

 

The question was about taking accountability. She said that they are charting their "own path that includes treating children with humanity and respect and ensuring they're safe when they cross our borders". How is that not taking accountability?

 

With an answer. She should have addressed the surge at the border, and told what the Administration was going to do about it. Biden's attempt to suspend all of Trump's policies on day one got shot down. Those rules are still in place. So, other then reopening the holding pens, Biden has not done anything. He is simply allowing the problem to get out of hand again. So, Psaki should be telling the American People what Biden is going to do about the issue.
