I was encouraged by Trumps recent backflip and glowing remarks on his new relationship with China, the very last thing we want is a war in Asia, it will destabilise the entire region if China gets involved, and China will get involved since they are right next door to Pyongyang

I'm a great fan of Don, but speaking as a -ahem- trophy-winning internet wargaming champion, I have to say his cruise missile blitz served no real useful purpose as far as I can see.
Maybe his Admin hawks talked him into it, I don't know.
I concede he's a great businessman and economist, but as a military strategist maybe he's not so hot.
And hey, speaking of economics, Tomahawk cruise missiles cost three-quarters of a million bucks each, so the 59 [some news reports say 69] that were launched at the Syrian airbase cost the American taxpayer around 50 million dollars just to make some holes in the runway and hangars, and knock down the control tower.
Looks like a bad deal to me.

Maybe Bannon's removal though of course that happened before the chemical attack and yes him being talked into it. Seems that way given he said the exact opposite at first. It looks like his emotions are the way to manipulate him.

I read that the Russians have been dredging and expanding Tartus since 2009.

it has nothing to do with USA, it is about a fact that locals can not learn how to put condoms on. MENA is badly overpopulated, instead of learn how to have sex without getting 25 children from the "Gods" , they blame USA for everything. Why Poles, Slovakians , South Koreans dont have such problems?

Someone speaking on BBC News 24 a few hours ago said it was probably Jared Kushner who managed to have more influence over Trump than Bannon and of course Kushner would go with what the Israelis wanted - they have applauded it. They want both to get rid of Assad and keep Isis on the go

Israel's nothern border is adjacent to Syria, so if the Israelis would be happy having an ISIS-controlled country next door to them have they gone nuts or what?
