It seems six Arab (And Muslim) countries in the region are rejecting any contact with Doha as they're considered to be promoting terrorism.
As these possible crimes have been known about for a long time, why does Trump do business with them?
As we know, Trump's attempted ban didn't cover this country but Trump does do a lot of business there.
Given much of the rest of the middle east has serious concerns, one wonders what's really going on here.
I wonder if posters would like to comment on this new situation and perhaps offer information they might be aware of regarding Qatar's alleged terrorist activities, and perhaps offer thoughts as to why Trump has ignored these serious issues.

Qatar and Iran share the North Field which is a huge gas field. It may be that Iran is going to exploit those reserves in the near future.. and Qatar wants to stay on their good side. I have never really understood Qatar or why wealthy Qataris would back ISIS, Boko Haram or Muslim Brotherhood. They are wealthy.. Per capital income is $129,000.

You do realize that Qatar was a crucial Ally to the US before Trump became president, Right?

The already sour relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia were strained in late May when the Saudis accused Qatar’s emir, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, of calling for improved ties with Iran, the regional rival of the Saudi kingdom, and criticizing some gulf Arab states.

The Qataris insisted that the comments were the work of hackers who broke into the website of the Qatar state news agency and called for an investigation. But the Saudis rejected that explanation.

Adding to the difficulties, American forces have important commands distributed across the feuding nations.

The American-led air war command in the fight against the Islamic State, for example, is at Al Udeid Air Base in Qatar. Qatar is also the host for the forward headquarters of the United States Central Command, which oversees all American military operations in Afghanistan and the Middle East......snip~

I wonder if the Anti Trumpers knew about those Important Commands the US has in Qatar. So far.....its not looking like they were even aware.

Yes, that meaning previous presidents were almost as guilty, but Trump more so because he deals with them personally as well.

Lots of countries do business with Iran these days, ever since that nuclear agreement with France, UK, Germany, US, Russia and some others. No doubt Iran has a heck of a lot of potential. Qatar gets over the shia/sunni thing and tabs in to it. Other Arab countries just get angry at it. That and the Muslim Brotherhood is perfectly able to operate in the US. So they are in Qatar as well. Saudi Arabia hates them, cause they are a political party who potentially could oust their government.

No doubt this will blow over in a couple of months.

A lot of billionaires deal with Qatar, a lot of businesses deal with Qatar. Even Al Gore and Hillary dealt with Qatar. Naturally Iran is blaming Trump for what these Arab countries are doing with Qatar.

Reminder: Hillary Clinton and Al Gore Raked In Boatloads of Cash From Qatar.....

In case you missed it late Sunday night Egypt, the United Arab Emirites, Saudi Arabia, Yemen and Bahrain all cut diplomatic ties with Qatar. The decision came after the officials from the Arab countries concluded the Qatar government has been funding terrorist organizations in Yemen, Syria and bolstering terrorist organizations working for Iran. There are also questions over the government's support for the Muslim Brotherhood.

A quick trip down memory lane reminds us that 2016 Democrat presidential candidate Hillary Clinton raked in $1 million from Qatar for the Clinton Foundation while she was Secretary of State. From Reuters:

The Clinton Foundation has confirmed it accepted a $1 million gift from Qatar while Hillary Clinton was U.S. secretary of state without informing the State Department, even though she had promised to let the agency review new or significantly increased support from foreign governments.

Qatari officials pledged the money in 2011 to mark the 65th birthday of Bill Clinton, Hillary Clinton's husband, and sought to meet the former U.S. president in person the following year to present him the check, according to an email from a foundation official to Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign chairman, John Podesta. The email, among thousands hacked from Podesta's account, was published last month by WikiLeaks.

But $1 million for Clinton is nothing compared to former Vice President Al Gore, who sold his Current TV network to Al Jazeera in 2013 for $100 million. Al Jazeera is funded by the Qatari government.....snip~

As is KSA too where many terrorists are coming from!

Anyway ... I feel really pleased now that this steps confirms at least what I have said all the time to the Anti West trolls who mill here around to blame the USA, NATO, West and Turkey (after Erdogan cuddles with Putin not further) but ignoring Qatar all the time!
I feel also really pleased to all those who denied this fact about Qatar all the time, when it was obvious still in Libya what they do when several C-130 Hercules of Qatar Air Force stood near plane of Sarkozy when he visited Libya and when further reports brought to daylight what these C-130 delivered and to whom!

Where is again the Football (Soccer) World Championship of 2022? Ehm ... yes ... Qatar!

Before you just beat on the Clintons ... valid or not ... get a second baseball bat and then bash also quite vigorously on the Bush clan too please! They are not better ... research about! ;-)

And let's get finally of this idiotic travel ban list by Donald Trump .. goes Qatar as a new no. 7 on this list or not?
As ridiculous the complete list is in its own as so often with facts shown, if Trump does not, it will show the stupidity of him and the complete list as proof very clear!

I don't have any trouble bashing those Neo Cons/Demos.

Trump wont put Qatar on the list with the US using Qatars airfield and with them hosting US Central Command. You should be able to figure out why that just wont happen. So try and be realistic.

So if a lot of people deal with terrorist it's fine.
Gosh, I though that just meant there were a lot of guilty people.

I don't know of any alleged terrorist activities, but it's good that these six countries are adding their voices to condemn terrorism.

The Saudis have always rejected Baathism, Nasserism, the Muslim Brotherhood and Communism.. and that goes way back. Their reasons are solid.. One main reason is that Saudi Arabia was never a colony. Further, the Muslim Brotherhood like Nasser thinks Saudi oil belongs to ALL Arabs and Egypt should control it.

You don't seem to know anything about Saudi Arabia. Do you understand WHY they rejected Baathism, Nasserism, the MB and communism?

Are you trying that delusion again about what people know of the Saud. You have been given that mental check time and time again. Shown Time and time again just how devious the Saud is. Truly you need a new talking point. Best you check with the Demo Underground for some new ones.

Although it isn't surprising to me just how you cater to the Demos and the leftness like you do for the Saud. Deviates gonna deviate.

This is quite clear to me what the meaning of Qatar for the US military is concerned ... but once in a realistic sense, this means in the end that the US simply once again only shows the general and since decades-known hypocrisy, eh?

To show the hypocrisy by fact, look ...
Iran is on the list because it supports the Hezbollah, which is considered a terrorist, to prevent the entry of Iranian-funded and supported terrorists. Sounds initially logical and of course Iran is for many in the US a red cloth since 1979, but has a heavy hook! These terrorists of Hezbollah do not come from Iran but from Lebanon ... and is the Lebanon on the Travel Ban list? No, so any Hezbollah terrorist can simply enter the US as always!
Since Qataris has been officially accused for years as a state to support the Sunni terrorists of Al Qaeda and ISIS as well as to close all eyes when Qataris publicly advertise for the IS and collect money and do business and also the implementation of the UN Resolution against the ISIS not to perform ... and what happens? Nothing!

Hezbollah stays close to home.. Lebanon and Syria.. They haven't committed acts of terror outside of that area.

Qatar shares the North gasfield with Iran.. so they are playing both sides at the expense of the GCC and supporting terrorism as far away as Libya and the Benghazi attack in 2012.

I condemn any and all terrorism against any unarmed civilians regardless of who the target is and who the terrorist is.
It's a pity some here refuse to do the same.

If you knew about the history or about the North Dome/ South Pars gas field Qatar would make sense to you.
