I tend to watch the national evening news 3-4 days a week, and GMA most mornings, + daily local news, I haven't seen this story on any of them, now granted I don't watch the entire broadcast so I could have missed something about this. Is this a massive story? If no, why not?

(duly noted my viewing patterns haven't changed and although I had NEVER even heard of Jessie Smollett before his hoax noose thing, I now know his story pretty well now and could spot him in the street, so a reminder that THAT was a huge huge huge huge story that was the lead story both before and after it was discovered to be a hoax)

 

Especially in New York City where the only thing you are allowed to use to defend yourself is harsh language.

Nonetheless every human being (this is all-inclusive) must have situational awareness, and use wisdom to decrease their chances of getting waylaid, robbed, harmed, or killed by evil humans.

Just because one may happen to be a woman doesn't make them special while drunk or stupid, or while immersed in their device as they are being approached from the rear or surrounded.
