    I disagree.

It is incredibly easy to argue against that stance.

Cruz, with no experience of his own, stated that all blacks should be Republicans. Such thinking, such blanket statements are the talk of folks who worship group think and totalitarian philosophies. I think Cruz is summarily discounting any good policies within any other party than Republicans in favor of blind worship of the GOP, with the erroneous notion that the GOP is right on everything, which would be a laughable thought.

I find it odd that a fellow who claims to have fled form Castro's version of government would wish the same single thought process on others.

I agree, the Church should have dealt far more harshly with the homosexuals that infiltrated the priesthood decades ago.

That said...here ya go; dig in:

What "experience" does Mr.Cruz need to have, to be allowed his own opinion, in your estimation?

Perhaps just looking at what left policies have done to the US black family is enough; it's quite simple to see what 50+ years of Democratic policies in our largest cities has wrought, with a massive toll on blacks family.

I do not accept that only Democratic policies have impacted people in America, either positively or adversely, nor only the policies of a single party have affected a single demographic adversely or positively.

Cruz's Staten is nothing more than blind and rabid partisanship, muddled in a thought process that seems to believe that the only thing keeping people from raping children is a belief in a magical old man/fairy sort of figure that lives in the sky.

Then you do not "accept" what is clearly
evident to others: blacks have been the most loyal client of the democrat party and for that loyalty they remain at rock bottom in ever measurable social metric there is (unemployment, crime, poverty, education, etc.).
And under a black president that paradigm has only gotten worse.

Actually Cruz's thought processes seem absolutely sound. <<<MOD EDIT: INSULTS<<<

So? What you do or do not "accept", and a bus token, is worth a ride downtown.

Mr.Cruz has a legitimate opinion regarding the moral decay of our nation, and his position is verified by current conditions, and the pathology that got us here, in the opinions of many Americans.

The creation of the Welfare Industry , (YES, a Dem/leftist policy) ,has done NOTHING to alleviate, or even REDUCE POVERTY, yet it has led to generation after generation planning their lives around the government's giveaways, which is directly correlated to the decay of our cities, and the dissolution of the urban black family.

Whether or not you "accept it", doesn't change it one bit.

His opinions seem to be rather incorrect and based on ignorance.

I must say that his declaration that all blacks should be Republicans and that the only thing preventing folks from raping children is a belief in mythology is a rather nothing more than the rantings of a man, in my opinion, will be a political liability to his son in his son's presumed presidential run.

In YOUR OPINION, about which people could easily make the same claims you just did about Mr.Cruz's views.

I notice you haven't managed to post anything by way of a REBUTTAL of his opinions, just attacks on him, based on YOUR OPINIONS.

There is no doubt that the Desperate, Post Obamacare Traumatixed Dem/Left will TRY to make Mr.Cruz, and any other Strawman thay can dream up, be a "liability" to Senator Cruz, but , let's face it, Democrat credibility isn't exactly in a "good light" at this time.

Hell, they used Mrs. Palin's handicapped SON against her, so we already know that there is NO NADIR TOO LOW for the Desperate Dem/Left, don't we?

And I find it odd that you equate Cruz's views with Castro's. Cruz, as far as I know, hasn't advocated abolishing opposition parties (as they did in Cuba under Castro).
I'm not terribly interested in what Cruz senior says and thinks but to say that a claim that some people would be better off under republican leadership than democrat is Castro-like is absurd! Absolutely off base.

A quick review of the thread will reveal that I have provided citations of folks who believe in Christian mythology do indeed rape children contrary to Cruz's statements to the contrary. He has been, at least in one regard, definitively proven incorrect.

As for his views on race, those are not fact based and there is no proving or disproving. I have provided my rationale for my position.

Anyone raping children is NOT practicing Christianity.

And your claim is that those who do not believe in Chrisitianity do not rape children?

    Logical fallacy.

    I do not "accept that".

I cannot find anywhere in your thread where Cruz senior has stated that Christians never rape children.
So why are you claiming he has? What do we call an intentional misstatement of fact? And why did you make it?

Cruz never said anything about practicing. His statements were regarding morality and belief, not practice.

Actually probably school teachers, as there is more sexual assault by teachers in public schools than any other group in the entire world.

You really need a citation for the teachers in the teachers union rape far more kids than catholic priests.

    Really dude? k

Heres 9 from this year in the month of september alone....

Last month in schoolteachers busted getting busy with their students

Florida teacher had sex with teen student 4 times in one day, deputies say

41 Female Teachers Caught Sleeping With Students

Heres a google search string with About 20,400,000 results (0.13 seconds)

Teachers in the teachers union are far far more likely to rape your child, than priests...

I'm not sure why you're fixated on whether or not these teachers are in a union. Plenty of states (like my own) have barely any union presence among teachers. This doesn't seem to have any correlation to the likelihood of abuse toward students.

That would be interesting, statistically. If you looked at percentages of teachers in public schools versus religious schools, which kind of schools have a higher percentage of abusing teachers? You'd have to have someway of getting past the fact that religious schools are more inclined to hush such incidents up then public schools are, but I know that Consmike must have been talking percentages (which would mean something) rather than absolute numbers (which would mean nothing since public school teachers greatly outnumber their counterparts).

There is nothing out there about percentages of teachers who molest, Consmike. Let me dumb it down and do a numerical example. Say there are 50 teachers each in public schools for every one in private schools and 1 out of 50 is a molester. There is thus a 2% rate of molesters among public school teachers (in my example).

Now continuing the example, let's say that 1 out of 25 private school teachers is a molester for a rate of 4% among private school teachers. The much larger pool of public school teachers would mean that assuming reporting and law enforcement were equal you'd hear 25 times as many stories about public school teacher molesters as you would about private school teacher molesters, but the PERCENTAGES would tell you that if your kids went to a private school they'd be twice as likely to be molested as they would if they went to a public school.

    Get the difference?

Yes, I understand percentages and the difference. Here are some for you to ponder...
