    a 17 year-old girl, Kaihana Hussain, told her father, Dr. Muhammad Hussain, that she wanted to convert to Christainity. Soon after, neighbors heard screaming, and Kaihana came running out of the apartment with her clothes torn off except her underwear, and bleeding from cuts and deep scratches on her arms and back. When police entered the apartment, they found that Dr. Hussain, unable to deal with the shame of having a daughter who wanted to convert, had stabbed his wife Yasmine to death, apparently blaming her for her daughters' desire to convert.

    Yes, this is what we want in our Western Democracies. Absolute hatred of the female, expressed in 7thC terms.

    The very reason you can pick and choose to support such things, is that we have kept this stuff out of our culture. How you are unable to see that, defies comprehension.

    How ignorant of you.

    You do realize Ashura is done as an act mourning for the killing of Hussein ibn Ali?
    The Sunni were the ones who killed him, so of course the Sunni wouldn't celebrate Ashura!

    The killing of Hussein was the event that led to the schism in Islam between Sunni and Shia Muslims.

    If it had been the other way around, the Sunni would likely be doing this and not the Shiite.

    The truth is multiculturalism is bad policy.
    The immigrants that arrived from Europe after WW2 (and before) have been fantastic for this country.
    It was difficult for them at first, but they worked hard to make new lives for themselves and have totally Integrated into Australian society.
    They wanted to become Aussies.
    They, their children, grandchildren, etc have enriched this country.
    The problem since this doctrine of "multiculturalism" was imposed on us is, it DIVIDES a nation....it does not UNITE the country.
    The issue arises when we get a a culture and an ideology (islam) that is so different to the mainstream society.
    Some of them have abused the privilege that Australia has offered them and under this stupid "multiculturalism" policy it encourages them to remain separate.
    This policy may work in an "ideal" world....but we don't live in an ideal world.
    So in other words, other migrants fit in, but muslims dont...and never will fit into any western civilization...
