It was a rather lame attempt at sarcasm.

How can someone religious make someone not religious look bad by merely expressing their own beliefs?

One is a Government matter, the other a personal one.
Its really as simple as that.
I am strictly against abortion and homosexual marriage for religious reason, yet I realize that both are very personal decisions that come from within, and should neither be endorsed nor mandated by the Gov.
Its my 1st Amendment right to speak out, hopefully in a loving and respectful manner, but its not up to me to judge, for I am a sinner myself.

Simple. Tell folks that these are one of the many branches of conservatisim. They should not paint a picture over what every single conservative stands for.

Yes, costs of production and distributiuon are almost always incurred before profits.
It was pretty clear taking into consideration the context which I quoted.

Several, huh? Then you shouldn't have a problem producing a sizeable list. Or did you just make that up?

This is a partial list of people who influenced the founding of america who have been categorized as deists, the belief in a God based on natural religion only, or belief in religious truths discovered by people through a process of reasoning, independent of any revelation through scripture or prophets. They have been selected for their influence on Deism, or for their fame in other areas.

    Benjamin Franklin-Deist
    Thomas Jefferson-Deist
    James Madison-Deist
    George Washington-Diest
    Thomas Paine-Diest

Quite a stretch. When it comes to Believers and non-believers... these men were Believers.

They were believers in the civilizing elements of christian and Judaic principles and they supported them as such, however they were of a seperate belief known as deism.

Deism - A belief in a god of nature -- a noninterventionist creator -- who permits the universe to run itself according to natural laws.

Got any atheists on your list?

    Lets examine them....

It is actually pretty commonly known these days. The material goes on and on. "God" is referenced several times in numerous documents and literature written by the founders as it was imperative to impart that some rights were not to be taken away by any government. This placed these rights above the grasp of any tyrannical bastard.

My statement which prompted this discussion pertained to christianity and Judaism. If there is further contention on this statement I will be happy to acknowledge.
