Is it possible to nullify elections and disenfranchise voters? Of course it is.
Should ordinary American voters support the corrupt bipartisan ruling political class when it wants to shred their votes?

Not for me to say what New York should or shouldn't do. I just know that if I were a New Yorker, I would support his impeachment and only because of the nursing home stuff. I could care less about him hugging somebody who now claims sexual assault. I have hugged plenty of women socially with nothing even remotely sexual about it.

IMO, voters should demand to see all the evidence and witnesses tested before a full due process hearing before making up their minds about any of it.

Even with Cuomo cooking the books on the Covid nursing homes deaths for months, when the deaths were all added in the state of New Yorks nursing home death rate was BETTER THAN THE AVERAGE FOR ALL STATES.

 

That was never the issue. If other states were even worse then their citizens need to hold their governors accountable. Two (or multiple) wrong(s) don't make a right. What you are saying is akin to whataboutism.

The issue is: did Governor Cuomo send positive Covid-19 patients to nursing homes causing the death of other patients there, lied about it, cooked the books, and covered it up?

If yes, he needs to resign or be impeached.

The sexual harassment stuff is important too. I see them as two separate issues. The one that resulted in the death of many is more serious, in my opinion.

Frankly the NC representative guy, the stuff is kind of minor; reads more like gossip. I don't think it is the same level of harassment, and these women in NC were college students rather than the representative's employees. That's another order of magnitude.

What does any of that have to do with a Governor sexually harassing subordinate employees and the deaths of thousands of senior citizens? Apparently you have been scratching hard to find something ANYTHING to try and excuse Cuomo the best you can come up with is a college guy taking girls out for a ride in his fast car? You equate the two?

Yes I do because sexual abuse is sexual abuse regardless of who is doing it. He was in his 20's at the time of his alleged indiscretions and far more than 3 women are accusing him of this indiscretion.

That was a travesty, IMO. While I can appreciate the Democrats having the integrity to hold their own accountable, what they did to Franken was waaaaay over the top. It was both petty and stupid.

 

Did they? I remember nothing of the sort. Where were the investigations into the couple of dozen or so women claiming sexual harassment and even sexual assault by Trump? Show me a link to any Republicans calling for an investigation.

 

What ever it takes to air all the evidence and let both sides be heard.

If the GOP had any integrity, they would have called for investigations into at least some of the dozens of women accusing Trump of harassment and assault.

If the GOP had any integrity, they would have dropped all support for Roy Moore.

I could go on. That's the difference I'm talking about.

I would bet money the GOP won't give a hoot about any of the charges against Ronny Jackson or Madison Cawthorne.

 

Due process for all. I do have to say that accusations made during an election carry less weight in my opinion.

 

Well Governor I am not gonna comment at all for months, I am not going to respond to subpoenas, and I am going to give conflicting explainations doesn't exactly have a record of airing any evidence as to this investigation.
