Very simple poll, one answer allowed 3 choices. Poll is anonymous.

Republican. I know a lot of Christians and all Christians and anyone who cares about Christians should vote straight Republican for every office in every election. You only have to see this forum to see the level of proactively and dangerously aggressive the Democratic Party is towards Christians. There are MANY other reasons, but that is the #1 reason.

Also, some charity needs to be returned to charitable organizations, such as Christian groups
and not the province of the Federals.

Lately I am voting Republican because the Democratic Party rejects straight, white men.
When I look at the faces of Democratic Party candidates it is so obvious.
It is a problem of percentages.
Straight, White Men make up the largest pool of best qualified persons.
How can Democrats be effectual with candidates of their creation such a Kamela Harris.
Similar to Hillary she has occupied lots of "chairs" without accomplishing a notable thing.
Sure Democrats will get elected via appealing to this or that fragment/group of :flagus:
But, they are loosing appeal to a united, whole :flagus: :salute: via their tactics.
Until the Democratic Party involves Straight, White Men with some representation,
I vote for the Straight, White Man First regardless of party, then the issues.
    So I checked, "Other".

Based upon almost all political tests I have taken and my position on issues I am a Libertarian so I indicated other, but I am registered as a Republican only so that I may have a voice in the political arena and I agree with Republican policies more than Democrat policies.

Secretly, I hope that one day soon the Republicans will find their way back to the small government, capitalism (not crony capitalism), and liberty positions they used to espouse.

I voted Democrat and that is largely because I find the precise same thing applies to Republicans, with the additional proviso that many Republicans are Dominionists who want to overthrown the Constitution and establish a theocracy, Democrats are almost universal in believing that a theocracy is the antithesis of the American Constitutional Republic but almost none that I know of see any conflict between America and Christianity at all as long as the Christians believe in the separation of Church and State.

Are you a Dominionist then? I have heard of them and seen their writings on the web enough to know they exist but never actually communicated with one.

Literally no Republicans are trying to overthrow the constitution to install a theocracy lol. Your vote was based on a lie, but I’m sure you already knew that.

The Dominionists surely are in favor of overthrowing the Constitution and my understanding is that the vast majority of Dominionists are also Republicans:

    https://www.politicalresearch.org/2...-a-theocratic-movement-hiding-in-plain-sight/

    https://www.huffingtonpost.com/entr...of-trump-campaign_us_57c817d0e4b06c750dd8d25a

Mind, I am not contending that ALL Republicans are Dominionists and therefore want to overthrow the Constitution, just some.

Must be pockets, cause I live in the middle of the "bible belt" and I know of no one that wants this. Not saying they aren't out there though. There are crazy people in every group.

We don't want the constitution to be overthrown we want it to be interpreted correctly.

That seems reasonable, so do we, but those interpretations vary considerably, which is as ii should be, I'm told

Nobody else wants to say how they vote?

Thank you... I like straightforward poll questions that aren't biased one way or the other.

I vote Republican, and have voted Republican all my adult life. I was a staunch member of the Republican Party until last July. I became "unaffiliated" because I dislike the "Establishment" Republican Party.

Nevertheless, I could never vote for anybody I see in the Democrat Party, at any level, local or national. How despondent and wretched I would feel if I were a member of a political party that couldn't find anyone better than Hillary Clinton to run for the presidency! :puke:

Yes, although I do not live in the US so I cannot vote. In the UK I support Jeremy Corbyn.

I don't support anyone in the UK they're all appalling!

I think we'd be better off with Putin than May or Corbyn lol.

I was a Maggie supporter (I was a child at the time) but I said to my mate I'd take Kinnock over either of these idiots any day of the week lol.

Independent. I have voted for democrats for president 6 times, green 3 times, republican twice and libertarian once. I doubt I will ever vote for the two major parties again unless the democrats nominate a progressive, anti-war candidate.

Although the Reform Party is no longer active in Georgia, I still claim it as my own. I have developed over the years a real dislike of both major parties as it seems to me both put the good of their party over the good of the nation. I realize there are some issues where there is no compromise possible between the two. But there are many, many more issues where they could work together to come up with solutions, compromise using give and take and keep this country moving forward. But over the last ten or more years, both major parties have had the attitude of my way or the highway. Give me 100% of what I want or none.

That both major parties think the other is this nation's worst enemy. Worst than North Korea, Iran, Russia, the national debt etc. That they are out to destroy the other. That cooperation for the sake of the country will never happen. For me, 2016 was the last straw when both parties nominated someone that 60% of Americans didn't like or want to become their next president.

I have no use for either major party as each today only represents the extreme, ultra, far left or extreme, ultra, far right leaving middle America without a political party to call home.

Whilst I disagree I'd say the moderates are falling with Trump for now but only if they realise you're not meant to take what he says seriously lol, I really respect your opinion and you wrote it well!

Yeah, I see what you mean. After all, today, under Trump the economy is robust, the stock market has soared since he's been in office, the people have been freed from the burden of Obamacare, we've had a tax cut, a new Supreme Court Justice who actually follows the Constitution -- as written and amended -- has been appointed, unemployment is down to 3.8%, and we appear to have embarked on a path toward real reduction in the threat of nuclear war in East Asia. Yeah... what is there to like about any of that...? Yeah... Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump... no difference at all... right?

A poll conducted at work in 1992 had Ross Perot winning. But he didn't.

And the Republicans and Clinton ruined the middle class over the next 25+ yrs.
