It's probably just because they've been convinced they're the big losers by loud liberals. Republicans have been surprising quiet lately (relatively, duh). All in all, this last election was close. No one won a landslide or a mandate.

No, but they did take a hit, at least. I'll admit I was surprised. I expected Romney to lose, but I didn't think the House and Senate would change much. Democrats actually picked up seats, and I thought Republicans would.

So what if it was? Are you saying all charitable donations are to be questioned just because there's a tax write-off involved? It would never equate to the amount of money he was giving up anyway, he couldn't defer it for any more than the year donated.

With something so bloated and irregular as the Winter Olympics? I don't think you really conceive how much of a mess these games are (and indeed, how much Salt Lake had f*cked things up). Turning it into a success was not a sure-thing.

He was out-of-the-loop at Bain when that acquisition was made. Considering he ran as pro-choice in 2003, we don't know if he would have supported that business or not.

...He vetoed the bill. Seriously, "his word"? It's a public action, it's pretty easy to confirm as true or not.

With the corporatist model of our Gov't? Not as much as you would think. And having run a state, and the Olympics, and a corporation, he was certainly more savy than Obama has ever been on the topic.

Sadfully and Ironically the Real and most easily recognized " Victim " in this Land
are Americans.Every citizen. That's right Each and every american is literally being
held Hostage by a Mainstream media Failing to fo what Journalism is all about.
To Inform. To GET the story. The Ironic part is that the democrat Party and the
Lamstream are in collusion and one way to interpret is use of words like " Hostage "
and " Obscructionist ".Both the democrat Party and those in the MSM use matching
talking pts.To besmirch, accuse and demonize Republicans.
It is grossly irresponsible and has reached a level of Propagandist proportion.
Friday's tragedy was just the latest example.Initial reports of what happenned and by whom
was distorted. The MSM couldn't even get the identity of the shooter correct.
They were so reckless they even had the Father being murdered.
    This Country IS So screwed.

It is only getting more crazy.More and more once respected and serious Journalist have
somewhow been converted into Lovey Dovey,Everything Obama says and does is
sprinkled with sugar and all things nice.Which actually is the polar opposite.
Like Brent Bozell said last night on - Hannity - he doesn't know what happenned to
Chris Matthews, but something went wrong.Matthews used to be a reliable and serious
talking head.Bozell told Hannity it's gotten so ridiculous this Lovefest Matthews has for
Obama that if it was possible for Matthews to carry Obama's next child he would.

And what better further proof than yesterday's announcement by South Carolina
Governor Nikki Haley of who she is appointing to fill the Jim DeMint Senate seat.
It will be Black Congressman,Tim Scott, who grew up in poverty and has a compelling life
story. That would make him the Lone African American of either party in the Senate.
So how did the Networks handle the News.ABC and CBS Ignored entirely.
NBC and Brian Williams spent all of 24 seconds on.
    This Country is SO Screwed.

I expected the Presidential race to be closer (it would've been if Romney performed better in the latter two debates, the second of which was marred by REALLY bad moderating), I expected Dems to pick up *some* House seats (GOP won so big last time they're bound to lose some seats, but they also had the advantage of redistricting), and I expected the GOP to pick up some Senate seats. No one could have expected such stupid Akin-style comments to cost three elections, and the Angus King entry was actually a bit of a surprise. The GOP candidate for Maine was actually a sterling candidate, a war-hero, a moderate, but it's a normally blue state and someone like Angus King had it sealed, so long as the Dems backed him (which they eventually did). It's too bad. We've got a lot of really great Republicans in Maine that never get a shot because the state is too blue. People don't really seem to listen to any discussion between the candidates for Senator.

Conservatives no longer have a stake in the success of the United States. Your side holds all meaningful federal power and will pack the Supreme Court with leftists. Screw the United States. Nothing lasts forever.

My side is not in power, nor has it ever been. I can't stand most of our federal politicians and only like a small minority, made up of both Republicans and Democrats.

When I vacationed in Philippines, Fox News was the only US news network I would get, and they talk about "the mainstream media" being hypocritical, as if they're not it. I guess to the American hamsters who never left their county they DO seem like an independent "only left" network
