All it takes is a couple of Democrat supporters on any bill Obama vetoes, and he'll earn the label easily. The Republicans have to be smart about this, not act like some idiot bull in a china shop.
The "US experiment"? Most of us look to the US and a shining beacon of democracy, actually. Not sure where your ideas come from. Given the interconnectedness of both our economies, our politics, our world stature and our general diplomatic affiliation, I fail to see how we would be "routing" for your failure. Just another whacky idea from someone who can't see the forest for the trees and clings on to silly right wing propaganda/generalisation. Please Mr. Brewskier, tell me more
We didn't have a welfare state when most of those "nation of immigrants" folk decided to come here. They either made it or they didn't. No US taxpayer to leech off of. It's amazing how Mexicans only started coming in significant numbers after we created a welfare state for them to take advantage of. They were a very small group in the US up until the mid 60's when, all of a sudden, their numbers skyrocketed, coinciding with the expansion of the welfare state and a radical change to our immigration laws. Somehow the US was able to become a leading world power without them being 20% of the population, where they are now. We can't afford to take in all of the world's sob stories. Why don't you? If you're so heartbroken over the plight of the poor Mexicans, why not invite some of them to crash at your place in Britain? I'm sure they'd appreciate it. That way, you could contribute directly instead of just scolding us for not giving them enough free stuff. How about it?
Now you're trolling. I highly doubt a majority look to the US as a beacon of light given their history of (*)(*)(*)(*)ing ip the world in favour of their interests
Exactly right, no D or R should hold office - only Tea Party and libertarian types should be in office.
when they decide to pick up arms and fight for their own country back we will help them. have you ever served your country? I have. twice! your attack on religion is disgusting. I am not religious but your insults to those that follow the word of god are in bad taste. you should apologize to those here that actually believe in a higher power than themselves or some political party. God is not your enemy.
LOL...Maryland governorship just went to a republican. The governorship list going red is hilarious. i have never seen anything like it.
So, you want to move backwards? Now for libertarians, they want each to live how they want without infringing on others rights. For tea party, they want everyone to live how they view everyone should live. In other words, they want to tell you how to live your life. At least by the ones who ran for prez.
I actually haven't got a clue what you're babbling about. Just another knee-jerk response.. scraping the limited intellectual barrell for anything that [omission] brain of yours can conjure up. Meanwhile, the above drivel above has nothing to do with what I said. It's a simple question of WWJD. Would Jesus agree that it's right to rip mothers and fathers away from their children?
LOL, Kansas governorship stays red when he was given no chance. governorships dont get talked about much but they are absolutely huge for the states. get ready for voter accountability in 2016!
i dont know. maybe you should ask him sometime. might be good for you to have a conversation with god once in a while. it helps more often than not from what i have seen.
Notice how no terrorists came to mexico, into US from mexico? Guess they did what we wanted. Let em in, kill em in mexico. In return, we will help some of your folks.
Tea Party Vision... "We envision a nation where personal freedom is cherished and where all Americans are treated equally, assuring our ability to pursue the American Dream." At its root the American Dream is about freedom. Freedom to work hard and the freedom to keep the fruits of your labor to use as you see fit without harming others and without hindering their freedom. Very simply, three guiding principles give rise to the freedom necessary to pursue and live the American Dream: Constitutionally Limited Government or your Personal Freedom and Your Rights Free Market Economics or Economic Freedom to Grow Jobs and Your Opportunities Fiscal Responsibility or very simply, a Debt Free Future For You and Generations To Come Personal Freedom We support personal freedom so all Americans can live life the way they want as long as it does not harm others, or infringe on another’s rights. Read More > Economic Freedom We stand for economic freedom which means a growing economy with reduced tax rates and reduced government spending so we all have a chance to earn more money and businesses can hire more people. Debt Free Future We support a debt free future because it is only fair and right to pay the debt we have incurred so our children and grandchildren are not stuck with our bills. http://www.teapartypatriots.org/ourvision/ Which part do you disagree with?
I think that's a war anyone can afford to lose. Hopefully such minor and insignificant distractions will be resolved and will no longer allow people to lose focus from the much bigger issues like the decline of the middle class, the stagnation of wages and the global instability caused by not having strong American leadership.
Do you even read your own links? The Dems won the Asian and "other" votes. The Republicans won the white vote. Everything basically went as expected.
GOP is losing the war to the judiciary on gay marriage, not the people. I am right-wing and voted for marijuana legalization in Colorado, as did many of my right-wing friends. Democratic Governor Hickenlooper was against MJ legalization, so I'm doubting the validity of the Dems winning some war on that subject. The Colorado governorship vote is currently in a virtual tie, with the Republican candidate slightly ahead. Still so close though, hopefully the piece of crap Democrat will lose.
Well I've read the Bible Sir. Cover to cover. And while I may not subscribe to Christianity in total, I noticed an overriding theme of compassion and love that would utterly blow out of the water the argument coming from a right-wing anti-amnesty hawk claiming to have basis in their religion. Their position entails a simple reality - kids essentially losing their mothers and fathers. If any Christian can sit there and tell me JC would approve of that, I'm waiting to hear it...
Personally, I legitimately laughed out loud when I saw that Scott was re-elected in Florida. You reap what you sow Floridians.
That wasn't the case when I posted the link. I imagine California reported in after I posted it and that changed it. Regardless those groups were not strong democratic supporters and only support them in ultra liberal states like California where the Democrats win with all demographics.
What's abortion got to do with what I say? I see you have a penchant for the irrelevant and generalisation.
he needs to lose so you folk get your gun rights back. the hell with pot. that will play itself out eventually anyways. i hope your governor loses to. he is antigun
I didn't see you complaining about the tens of thousands of children "losing their mothers and fathers" when they came flowing over the border a month ago, unaccompanied.
