Consumers will buy from other sellers who will increase production.

they are all set by the global price, did American oil sell Americans cheaper oil when prices were going up?

Loans are taken out due to favorable interest rates and the strong possibility that a significant part of the loan will not have to be paid. The wealthy are financially smart which is one reason why they are wealthy.

Prove most of the loan forgiveness goes to the lower earners. Are you denying that most of the forgiveness goes to the top earners but current and future?

How about they take it out because they know it will be forgiven and the rest of us blue collar slobs with have to pay for it.

So this loan forgiveness doesn't do much of anything?
So, a forgiveness to the rich as was claimed is BS.

    Which my link does show.

It does exist. BTW the Davis-Bacon Act of 1931, the National Industrial Recovery Act of 1933 and the Fair Labor Standards Act of 1938 and their effect and intent is common knowledge to those who study history.

Of course they did. And that's why they borrow from the US government. But the situation has become much better recently. See #455.

My claim is rich people dont get college loans because they dont need them. Why would you pay interest on money you already have ?

Why would you spend your own money when the government will forgive a significant portion of the loan?

What these California burger-flippers are going to go through now is nothing compared to what's going to happen to all those Volkswagen factory workers in Tennessee who just voted to join the UAW labor union. VW already has 6 manufacturing plants in South America and it wouldn't surprise me to see them transfer all of the Tennessee activities to Brazil in record time!

Remember, the German automobile manufacturers (all of them) carefully selected states in the U. S. where there was very little likelihood that workers would unionize. It's all raised-fists and cheers among those workers now, but they'll be singing the blues before very much longer, methinks....

Unless the feds grant some form of tax cut or other type of subsidy paid for by US taxpayers.

The EU could have made a deal with the US for LNG to wean themselves off Russian natural gas and stop funding the Russian military now operating in Ukraine. Trump proposed this in 2018.

What did Biden do?? Hint: there is a thread on this very subject.
