After watching the debates and doing my own little research the buzz for Rick Perry is starting to flood in.

I have ZERO doubt he will be the nest President of the United States of America.

The libs are already soiling their pants because they know its going to happen, obviously Obama has no chance in hell, the man is Jimmy Carter 2.0

As long as the Libertarians dont waste their vote on Ron Paul its in the bag.

Go watch some of the Youtube videos and read the lib hippies comments, all they got on him is he is a Christian and prays..

    OMG WHAT! HE PRAYS!

WHO WOULD OF THUNK SOMEONE IS A CHRISTIAN IN AMERICA! UNHEARD OF !

    LOL

Please liberals keep it up, i beg of you, your digging your own grave. Liberal ideas are dead dead dead.

First off Obama is compared to J Edgar Hoover, read further back into history besides stooping at Reagan.

Why don't you actually give us a link to what Steve's plans are for president other than being childish and acting like a keengardener at public school.

He's probably the most likely guy for the Republican nomination, but the general election is a toss-up right now. I wrote a statistics program to calculate Obama's chance of winning an electoral majority based on RCP's map and the probability turned out to be 54% (I'll explain my methodology if you want). And Obama's chances will only get better from here on out as the economy improves, however slowly.

This libertarian will vote for Obama just to (*)(*)(*)(*) off "conservatives" willing to vote for Neo-Con Perry, and ignore his history of globalist, big government policies. He talks like a conservative, just like Obama talked like a liberal.

Look up NAFTA superhighway, for Xenu's sake. Screw your social conservatism, people should live life however they decide to live it and you are not the judge.

Ron Paul is the only fiscal conservative. Perry will give you people another nice surprise with his wars, corporate partnerships/bailouts, destruction of American sovereignty, and continued slide down this same path we've been on for decades.

Just watched Perry's speech he is a much better speaker than Obama.

I expect to see the democrats character assassination machine to come out after Perry this week.

Obama had better fear Perry for he knows what this country stands for and what direction the people want to see this country go.

I don't trust most of them but Perry has been Governor of Texas for since 2000.

He is a Christian and has prayed for rain it is now raining make what you want of that.

Texas has fared well in the recession creating around 40% of the jobs since Obama has been president.

He is not perfect but looks to be a top candidate

There's no way Perry will be the next President; once the msm gets done with him he'll end up back in texas doing whatever he did before throwing his hat into the ring. He's got too much dirt on him; indeed the man at one time advocated Texas leaving the union and becoming an independent country once again. That alone is grounds for any clear thinking republican to reject his candidacy. The only viable candidates are Romney and/or Pawlenty.

Either way, I wouldn't get your hopes up to much.

It was more of a response to the OP saying Ron Paul fans would be wasting their vote. When actually voting another globalist, Bilderberger, corporate tool would be the wasted vote.

Who ever said that republicans and democrats do not realize that both parties are essentially working for the same group of elitists hellbent on the same path of destruction? Brilliant plan! smashing..

No, the MSM will treat him as the savior, sure the "liberal" outlets will throw a few jabs to try and pretend they are legitimate, but they know that Perry is one of them. Mega-conglomerations of corporate/media/political interests such as the CFR, Bilderbergers, Tri-lateral commission boost candidates into the spotlight and get them elected.

They all support unfettered globalization and the continuance of social control over the population. The money will keep on finding its way into the hands of the most wealthy in this trickle up poverty economics of corporate globalization, exactly what the federal/corporate partnerships desire and exactly what has been happening.

The media attacks Ron Paul and Ron Paul only, because he sees through them and tells the truth about our economically fascist federal government.

He did at one time and thats going to come back to haunt him, not only by liberals but by his republican/tea party challengers.

The liberals will bide their time and when its right, they will work with the msm to make sure that every American knows what Perry advocated whether you or I like it.

Admit it, Romney and/or Pawlenty are the only viable candidates. They will be acceptable to mainstream Republicans and independent voters as opposed to the other 12-15 candidates that wish to be president.

While that may be true, Ron Paul is too old to be President. Statisics are against him and if corks off in office and his VP pick is a loser, much like the Republicans VP pick in 2008, then the country would be in horrible shape. My opinion of course.

Ill revisit this thread after Perry wins the repub nomination and say "told ya so"

To me its fairly OBVIOUS he is the leading candidate from this point forward.

    Romey is very uninspiring.

If the Republicans want to win they'll nominate Romney. If they don't, they'll nominate Perry.

Perry is not electable simply because we just had eight years of a Texas governor in the White House. It won't help that he was W's Lt. Governor and will likely have ol' W doing a lot of pitching for him on the campaign trail.

I agree on both counts. Unfortunately for Perry, it is way too early for another Texan president. He could win the Republican nomination, but the "W Factor" (justified or not) will make him a hard sell for the Oval Office in 2012.
