Not one of those posts is claiming violent protest is ''OK when we do it''.
Peaceful protest is certainly OK whoever does it.
Are you against the right to peaceful protest? I can't believe you are but you seem intent on conflating peaceful protest with violent protests and riots. Which for the record, yet again, I approve of the former and strongly disapprove of the latter no matter which side is doing it.

 

They (Democrats) occupied a state Capitol building by force. They stormed up the stairs and into the building and took it by force.

The Republicans were never intent on killing anyone and did the same exact thing the Democrats did.

I don't agree with them but hey the Democrats did it to.

Any forum which would ban you for expressing your legal right to defend yourself against a violent intruder is not one worth belonging to in my opinion. I'm pretty sure PF.com would not do that.
What I am struggling to understand is why you consider defending life and property in an invasion by a violent mob in the seat of government is murder but if ''scum-sucking home invaders'' tried to enter your home you would not hesitate to exercise your legal right.

I think you are going to have to explain the difference between one invasion of a legally occupied building and the other. I see no difference myself and although I deeply regret the death of a young woman trying to force herself into a place she had no legal right to enter, your characterisation of it as murder is baffling me.

I must have missed the thread you created condemning, without qualification, the 06JAN21 attack on the Capitol. I must have missed your posts in other threads condemning it. Could you provide some links to your "fairly consistent, condemning" of Wednesday's RW violence in the Capitol of the United States? Your outrage that the rich kid from Queens that's been in over 3000 lawsuits, once again playing with the law and the Courts like a rabid Rottweiler and they are his chew toy, and the post's you've made condemning it. The guy that told those folks he loved them? Please, share with us where you've made any fairly consistent posts condemning the riots, much less where you've condemned Trump for inciting them.

Given the unlikelihood of you being able to provide links to such posts, I find that your leading sentence in this OP is at best hypocritical itself, and, as the opening statement of the OP, I have to question whether or not you are even presenting a topic that invites a debate of external issues to the forum, rather than teeing up just a piece of flamebait to incite responses "among the left leaning members of this forum."

It is shocking to see how they do not want to understand the difference between protests and riots. While one may lead to the other, there is a significant difference once weapons (pipe bombs in this case) are introduced into the mix. The Capitol Hill incident is what it is being called, an Insurrection, because the intent by Trump was to disrupt the legal certification of the vote.

BLM protests and riots are the same thing, right? Trump said March and Cheer and YOU claim he said riot and storm the capital. I didn’t hear riot. I didn’t read riot. I read what he said. It was very clear. Not a single violent word. She said keep going so I can assume she meant all of BLM. That includes All of them. Peaceful AND the rioters. People burning and stealing are part of the movement. They wore the shirts and held the signs as they tossed Molotov cocktails. The spray painted BLM and busted into the shops. If you can make up what Trump means I’ll interpret Kamala the same as you. Fair?
