He will win because he will act presidential in the campaign while Obama will be the street fighter, aiming low and giving sucker-punches. People don't like mud-slinging in campaigns and Obamas tactics are set in stone to devour him as a person, not as a political opponent. With Romney taking the high road, it will make some people mad that he doesn't strike back or lash out, but most people will admire him, and then vote for him. Gutter fighting is Obamas stock-in-trade...intimidation etc, but Romney won't be intimidated; he is not afraid of Obama. Don't let his cool demeanor fool you; he can get down, but it appears he is going to go the route of many before him, by acting presidential proving his opponent is unworthy of the position of President of The United States.
He has a lot of work to do: http://www.electionprojection.com/2012elections/president12.php There is also a lot of time, but he seems to have an uphill battle.
Those colors will change at election time. Virginia, Ohio and North Carolina are Romneys and very possibly Florida. Santorum can help with Pennsylvania and Mass. could be a toss up. It will be a hard battle, but if he sticks to his guns and stays out of the gutter, he will inch by.
While I agree with you that Romney will win, in fact he'll win with landslide proportions, I'm not so sure he should be keeping the Mittens on throughout these next 5 months. Remember how McCain basically laid down and let obama run roughshod all over him. McCain ended up being a wuss by letting obama dictate the battle. Romney should take the Mittens off during their 3 nationalized debates where he'll have ample opportunity to make mince meat out of the sitting anti American commie. But really all the trends do show a Romney cakewalk into the POTUSendcy.
Before the time when America became weak and degraded to an joke for the entirely world."Thanks" a well-known Clown in D.C. all folks are laughing about the U.S.
This is a hard call, I agree McCain blew it, but McCaine's fall was actually due to the Market crash, he was leading up to then. He could have done a much better job had he kept hitting him with Wright and the black separatist thing, pure poison and easy for the public to understand. The Media did the public a horrible disservice by not vetting Obama properly as well, people had a right to know about Wright and that church. It was not about his religion, but rather his politics.
I remember a study sometime ago claiming that while people generally don't like mud-slinging this tactic is effective.
Could somebody tell me who wins.. i dont think i will notice If I lose interest and stop paying this farce anymore attention.
...two years ago Ron Paul (R) was the One candidate, and back then it looked like he would be the next US president, but couldn't win enough voters/masses on his side. If you look at the US presidents over the last two decades you notice that they change every four years back and forth between Democrats and Republicans. Ron Paul (R) has dropped out the race, and Obama (D) is becoming less popular (because of all the anti propaganda and Afghanstan) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Presidents_of_the_United_States Bush (R), Clinton (D), Bush (R), Obama (D), the next US president must be another R(epublican), Romney. But all kinds of things can happen between now and 11-6; terror, another 1929, an attack as happened to Reagan, politics, illness/virus (no option can be left out in this post 9/11 era)
