Life in Rural America (which is where Republican Trump voters live and govern), is clean, safe and racially tolerant. Most places in America where life is dirty, polluted, dangerous, violent, and plagued with racial hate and race riots, are cities that are almost exclusively populated by and governed by Democrats.


Outside of these Democrat-run cities, America is peaceful, safe, clean, and racially tolerant.

What’s more, if you remove these Democrat-run cities from our national statistics, you will find an America that is overwhelmingly peaceful, safe, clean, and racially tolerant.

Nevertheless, Democrats and their fake-media allies still blame Republicans for all of their problems.

According to them, it is Republicans who are responsible for racism, pollution, and gun violence — even though, out here where we all live, our air, water, and streets are safe and clean… We all own guns, but where we live there is no gun violence crisis… We are all supposed to be racists and responsible for all the hate crimes, but out here where we all live, there is no hate crime crisis.

Now, there will be exceptions, but those exceptions only serve to prove the rule.

Let me lay this out for you…

This has been true for a long time. This very long article is right on. It is rural, small town, and exurban America that is a very safe and pleasant way of life. We do have a virtual utopia compared to our cities. It’s fact that conservatives run more efficient, safer, and more vibrant communities than liberals do.

 

I live in a conservative rural area of a very liberal urban blue state and my experience is the same as that of the writer of this article.

Funny...I live in a rural town in a very blue state and surrounded by liberals and my town is clean, safe and racially tolerant. I don't think I could live in a safer, cleaner, more racially tolerant town. Hell, we even have a gun store in our town.
Point being that sweeping generalizations, such as in the OP, are dumb as f***.

 

I live in a 'small' town (growing quickly, though) where one set of neighbors moo, and the other set neigh. There are at least two gun store/feed stores in town, and while it's quite a conservative area and state, there is very little gun violence. There are a fair number of liberals and minorities in the area. Property crimes seem to be the thing.

There is a difference between real liberals, and Progressives. We don't have many Progressives here, and we are happy for it.

 

I am surrounded by progressives and we have a gun store in my one traffic light rural town. Happy to say the store is thriving which is great for me as it's literally 1.4 miles from my home.

 

The key is "rural". Most of the violence tends to be in the urban areas.

Unfortunately, it is more complicated than that.

We expect more violence in the urban areas. However, efforts to curb it by defunding and creating an anti-law enforcement attitude is counter productive.

 

The OP is correct - the overwhelming majority of violent crimes are happening in urban areas, where Democrats live.

 

Going to some rural areas is kind of freaky. Not a lot of bright bulbs walking around. You’re not from around here, are you? Cities tend to have centers of intellectual discourse and cultural events that rural areas sorely lack. Not to mention medical care. My dad lived in New Mexico in his later years. The nearest medical facility was little more than an urgent care facility. Anything serious required more than an hour’s drive to the nearest full service hospital.

 

Wait, you mean the bulk of crime happens where lots of people live? Now who would have thunk that?

All hyped up on Breitbart I see. Nothing like Breitbart to fill one up with all kinds of misinformation. Of course they use statistics that give a false impression to go along with their false narratives. Take Chicago for instance. Conservatives like to point to Chicago as such a horrible place. But if one compares Illinois with Southern states like Louisiana and Alabama, on a per capita basis, Illinois is a much safer place to live. Alaska, the least densely populated state has the highest crime rate in the country while New Jersey, the most densely populated state, has one of the lowest crime rates. Georgia, the most liberal of Southern states, has the lowest crime rate in the South.

 

The assumption of 'not a lot of bright bulbs walking around' is exactly an assumption.

One of the semi-local 'shiners has a degree in engineering. The 80 year old lady at the Goodwill is a volunteer, retired RN. The guy who bought some land from us to build a house is a retired Chicago policeman.

Many people choose rural places to live for many reasons. Bigotry by some reinforce assumptions such as you made, and you will have lost out on knowing some pretty good people because of it.

I guess you missed the part where the greatest wealth creation in America is mostly coming from the the very blue cities that you decry. People move away from rural areas to cities because there are few jobs and almost no culture in the middle of nowhere.

When I was a kid, my siblings and I once got this great idea to put up a lemonade stand. That is when we discovered, that on an average day, that only about a dozen cars passed our rural Ohioan home. And none of them were interesting in what we were selling. In cities, people can make enough money selling food out of carts on the streets, to be able to afford to buy a house.

Of course you should know about the great brain drain. Where bright and ambitious children of rural families go to college and move to cities to find meaningful work. Leaving behind their less endowed siblings. It is a trend that has been on going for more than a century.

Guess what, all the crime up where my country home is, is committed by the good ole boys.

Have those here that are praising urban city (democrat) lifestyle watching the news to where we see thousands of people fleeing the likes of democrat run cities and states like in Kalifornicator, New York and New Jersey to not only escape the high rate of violent crime--but also escaping the feckless dem leadership in those venues that are destroying small businesses--to where they flee to open-armed Republican states like in Florida and Texas?

 

While Illegal Aliens, refugees, migrants, have nots and youth fresh out of skruls are indeed moving to the liberal-infested urban cities, those who can, move out to the suburbs and rural areas. Both are the facts of life.
