Whataboutism, whataboutism whataboutism. Just about as exciting as debating with a 1st grader, it is.
I took him seriously. I've never met anyone whose best friend was a voice on the radio. If I had known his best friend actually is a voice, I wouldn't have chimed in, because that is sad.
My father was the staunchest liberal in town, but when Rush was on local radio Dad listened faithfully - arguing with the radio for rhe entire show. When my family and I came to visit my mother would warn me “don’t bother Dad while Rush is on”. Oh, and they lived about five miles from Rio Linda.
The liberal hypocrisy knows no bounds. While its not all liberals, its a growing number. They think they are progressive, yet cheer at someone dying with different beliefs than they. They blame others for the division, caused by their own emotional outbursts. They claim anyone who disagrees with them is hitler. And so, its not surprising they celebrate the death of someone they view as hitler.
Your inability to see how serious of a cultural issue it is, is your own shortcoming. Regardless though, those who can see it, recognize it as serious for good reason.
I haven't really said anything hateful about him. I said it is hard to deny his impact. What's hateful about that?
That was my point. LOL. It's okay for republicans to hate on the newly dead, but when democrats do it, it's a mental disorder.
Your inability to see what is right before your very eyes is your own shortcoming. Regardless, from an objective standpoint, its there.
I see a lot of hard work in your future getting that fake-umbrage up to acceptable levels. Goodness gracious, put some elbow-grease into it!!
Democrats rejoice because one of their tormentors has passed. Evidently they are unaware of what is waiting in the wings...
With the "Rush Limbaugh Crowd". Anyway: Rush Limbaugh, Bigoted King Of Talk Radio, Dies At 70 Limbaugh saturated America's airwaves with cruelty and conspiracies, amassing millions of listeners and transforming the Republican Party. https://www.huffingtonpost.co.uk/en...witter_cooo9wqtham&utm_campaign=share_twitter
When we know better, we do better. Unless your brand dictates ratings. Here are some of Rush's greatest hits... "The NFL all too often looks like a game between the Bloods and the Crips without any weapons. There, I said it." (Source) "I think it's time to get rid of this whole National Basketball Association. Call it the TBA, the Thug Basketball Association, and stop calling them teams. Call 'em gangs." (Source) "Have you ever noticed how all composite pictures of wanted criminals resemble Jesse Jackson?" (Source) On Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Donovan McNabb: "I think what we've had here is a little social concern in the NFL. The media has been very desirous that a black quarterback do well. There is a little hope invested in McNabb, and he got a lot of credit for the performance of this team that he didn't deserve. The defense carried this team." [Limbaugh resigned from ESPN's Sunday NFL Countdown pregame show after uproar over these comments.] "The NAACP should have riot rehearsal. They should get a liquor store and practice robberies." (Source) "Everything in Africa's called AIDS. The reason is they get aid money for it. AIDS is the biggest pile of, the biggest pot they throw money into." (Source) Responding to a caller who said black people should have a greater voice on issues: "They are 12 percent of the population. Who the hell cares?" (Source) On Barack Obama, during the 2008 election: "A veritable rookie whose only chance of winning is that he's black." "If any race of people should not have guilt about slavery, it's Caucasians. The white race has probably had fewer slaves and for a briefer period of time than any other in the history of the world ... And yet white guilt is still one of the dominating factors in American politics. It's exploited, it's played upon, it is promoted, used, and it's unnecessary." (Source) "Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women access to the mainstream of society." (Source) "Women should not be allowed on juries where the accused is a stud." (Source) "Women still live longer than men because their lives are easier." (Source) I'm a huge supporter of women. What I'm not is a supporter of liberalism. Feminism is what I oppose, and feminism has led women astray. I love women. I don't know where all this got started. I love the women's movement, especially when walking behind it." (Source) "When a gay person turns his back on you, it is anything but an insult; it's an invitation." (Source) On Beyoncé: "She's married to a rich guy ... She now understands it's worth it to bow down." (Source)
Multiple people in this very thread. And thats just here, exclusively democrat forums dont even hide it.
Oh, I overestimated your intelligence. I should have expected that you don't know what a comparison is. Whataboutism is when you point to the wrongdoings of others and say because they did it, it's ok for you to do it. It doesn't work when looking at something good another party did, like the conservative reaction to the death of a liberal where proper respect was shown. You are simply trying to justify your own words and failing terribly at it.
Well, keep an eye on those forums for us and let us know what they are saying.... progressives are generally so much better at the clever burns...
