The greatest number of Russian Battle Tanks are the T-72 which Russia lists as having almost 2000 Battle Ready.

Actual number....about 1500.

T-80....currently not operating due to problems with auto loader.

T-90....Official Russian Count of Battle Ready T-90's...as of Dec. 2014.....678.

Reality.....T-90's have a general instability with their tracks when attempting to move at high rates of speed like the U.S. Abrams while keeping their main gun trained upon target.

Because of this currently ONLY 4 T-90'S HAVE HAD THIS PROBLEM FIXED!!!

The reast would end up as target practice for U.S. Abrams.

But here is the biggest difference.....in an actual SHOOTING WAR.....which won't happen....over 95% of all Russian Tanks would be destroyed by Apache Longbow Choppers.....A-10's....F-15E's....etc...etc....before the more than 6700...actua lnumber is classified....approx. between as low as 6000 and as high as 8000...U.S. M1A2 and MiA3 Abrams Tanks even get within shooting distance!!!

If I wanted to gain an upper hand in a future conflict with another country, I would provoke them into trying to intimidate me with "practice runs" and let them believe they were able to penetrate our defences while at the same time, study their attack procedures. And since this would be an intelligence mission, the boat would have been staffed by intelligence personal. Of course to hide this fact, when the ship got to port, I would come up with a story about how all the crew got scared and needed psychologists. This way I could have a reasonable explanation on why suddenly a whole naval crew suddenly had to leave while at the same time, feed them some misinformation. Of course, you guys would know all about that.

 

Although the Russian Military is a bit better than it was during the day's when it sent a bunch of RUSSIAN KIDS on a WALK OF ODYSSEY.....as they were droppped off a long distance from the Pristina Airport in Kosovo and were lucky they were not mistaken by NATO Flyer's as Serbs.

They made it to the airport as a TOKEN FORCE....but they had no food, no water, hardly anything tht would qualify as Medical Supplies and their Superiors ordered them to stay there and set up an area.

Now after a few days these kids were getting sick, dehydrated and were wracked with Dysentery.

They were ordered by their Russian Military Superiors that they would be COURT MARTIALED....in Russia that means....SHOT WITHOUT TRIAL....if they accepted any food or water or help from the American's.

I was there....and I watched this situation get worse and worse.

Finally we all got on the horn and a deal was made so British Forces could supply these Russian Kids....and they were just KIDS....with food, water, medical...etc.

But THAT.....IS ABOUT THE EXTENT RUSSIA HAS TO SUPPL IT'S FORCES!!!

Perhaps a bit better now.....but not all that much.

The response would be the total obliteration of all Russian Airbases, Aircraft and Ships in the region.

One example is the IMF and World Bank making the U.S. Treasury as the Monetry Supplier for Russia as the U.S. Dollar has now been designated as the OFFICIAL RUSSIAN CURRENCY!!!

Now the Euro is accepted as payment but NO ONE ACCEPTS THE RUBLE....as it is worthless.

Only the U.S. Treasury and U.S. Dollar exists in enough quantity to be used as a secondary emergency Monetary System for Russia as there exists MANY MATIONS THAT USE THE U.S. DOLLAR AS THEIR NATIONAL CURRENCY!!

When your Nations Economy has collapsed to the point that it's own currency is WORTHLESS...you have a problem.

The ting is the IMF and World Bank with Russia's Blessing have designated the Dollar as the defacto Russian Currency as this is THE ONLY THINK KEEPING THE RUSSIAN ECONOMY FROM COMPLETE AND TOTAL COLLAPSE.

The U.S. could SNAP IT'S FINGERS....and watch Russia desintegrate before ourt eyes....but we don't want that.

Operation Overlord was the code name for the Battle of Normandy, the Allied operation that launched the successful invasion of German-occupied western Europe during World War II. The operation commenced on 6 June 1944 with the Normandy landings (Operation Neptune, commonly known as D-Day). A 1,200-plane airborne assault preceded an amphibious assault involving more than 5,000 vessels. Nearly 160,000 troops crossed the English Channel on 6 June, and more than three million allied troops were in France by the end of August.

The decision to undertake a cross-channel invasion in 1944 was taken at the Trident Conference in Washington in May 1943. General Dwight D. Eisenhower was appointed commander of Supreme Headquarters Allied Expeditionary Force (SHAEF), and General Bernard Montgomery was named as commander of the 21st Army Group, which comprised all the land forces involved in the invasion. The Normandy coast was chosen as the site of the invasion, with the Americans assigned to land at Utah and Omaha Beaches, the British at Sword and Gold Beaches, and Canadians at Juno Beach. To meet the conditions expected on the Normandy beachhead, special technology was developed, including two artificial ports called Mulberry harbours and an array of specialised tanks nicknamed Hobart's Funnies. In the months leading up to the invasion, the Allies conducted a substantial military deception, Operation Bodyguard, using both electronic and visual misinformation. This misled the Germans as to the date and location of the main Allied landings. Hitler placed German Field Marshal Erwin Rommel in charge of developing fortifications all along the Atlantic Wall in anticipation of an invasion.

The Allies failed to reach their goals for the first day, but gained a tenuous foothold that they gradually expanded as they captured the port at Cherbourg on 26 June and the city of Caen on 21 July. A failed counterattack by German forces on 8 August led to 50,000 soldiers of the German 7th Army being trapped in the Falaise pocket. The Allies launched an invasion of southern France (Operation Dragoon) on 15 August, and the Liberation of Paris followed on 25 August. German forces retreated across the Seine on 30 August 1944, marking the close of Operation Overlord.

These look like pictures of Large Scale Prison Camps when the U.S. Military was cutting through German Lines so fast that entire German Divisions were surrendering.
