The M1 is a complex weapon requiring lengthy training. The Ukrainians already know how to operate the T-72.

There is only so much old Soviet hardware lying around that they might be given, and that stuff is only so useful on the modern battlefield. We can't let this be a barrier.

There are limits of course. But it would take many months to field an effective M1 formation.

Then I hope that training is already underway.

Not the entire world's journalists, only those of the Washington affiliated corporate media, for they dare not go against the editorial line.

We lie and spin that's how we go
pretending that we're in the know
and laugh at what you read and see,
    when it's our own 'reality'.

Now some might think that we're insane
    since in our lies they see no gain;
but having all in our control
is in itself a major goal.

For in our weird messianic minds,
when we control, we feel divine.
So that the world with all its lands
will soon fall into our loftier hands.

In Bucha, Ukraine, burned, piled bodies among latest horrors
    OLEKSANDR STASHEVSKYI
    Tue, April 5, 2022, 3:27 PM

BUCHA, Ukraine (AP) — One blackened body had arms raised in supplication, the face contorted in a horrible scream. The skull of another had a bullet hole in the left temple. The small blackened foot of a child could be seen in the tangle of charred bodies piled together in Bucha, the town outside of Kyiv where graphic evidence of killings and torture has emerged following the withdrawal of Russian forces.

The six burned and blackened corpses were just the latest gruesome scene to emerge from Bucha as world leaders push for Russia to be held accountable, including for possible war crimes.

It was not clear who the people were or under what circumstances they were killed.

How appalling! Putler's naZis have been caught doing what fascists do.

Lethal ‘kamikaze’ drones will hunt in pairs to take out Russian artillery
    Dominic Nicholls
    Tue, April 5, 2022, 11:24 AM

A “tag-team” of drones could soon be deployed for the first time in a battlefield to help Ukraine destroy Russian artillery.

The latest batch of lethal aid from the US could extend the range of the Switchblade “kamikaze” drone, which is already in use, by pairing it with the larger Puma drone.

The effort to seek out and destroy Russian missile and artillery units is seen as Kyiv’s next big requirement, as calls for a no-fly zone have dissipated in the wake of much-reduced Russian air activity.

    ... https://news.yahoo.com/lethal-drone-package-set-ukraine-162428360.html

    Happy hunting!

Not sure they care if they are "caught" ............as they just lie /deny, spin anyhow.....as they continue to fabricate their own "reality". one might say that hey have become desensitized to the horrors they create...........and "justify" them in their own own minds . And the dumbed down Russian population that has no information .....other than the output from their "state" news.........does not help much

I don't expect serious consequences for the perpetrators until the Putin regime is gone. Until then, the rest of the world can only work to make that a reality.

indeed........ Putin continues to control much of this scenario by fear.........& tyrannical threats of nuking as a reaction.

Putin is a classic example of how things can go south when one is in power for too long and feels entitled to do as he wishes at any cost.

....ie an example of absolute power corrupting absolutely. ( even if that sound like a cliche )

Personally, I don't know all that much about weaponry etc...........but this sounds pretty good to me ;-) The more tools that are effective the better.........so the Ukrainians can continue to defend their country.

If there was legitimate evidence of claims like yours the journalists would be all over it. Breaking a story like that would be a career maker. It would make a journalist a superstar overnight.

The deafening silence from the global news organizations says otherwise. What we do clearly see is that many Russians are war criminals; most of all that little worm putin.

Putin will now be arrested the moment he leaves Russia. So give it up! You have lost the propaganda war. The truth is undeniable.

A government official in Russian Belgorod region explains to locals that they are digging trenches as a precaution.
Russians are digging trenches on their territory in fear of Ukrainian invasion? :icon_jawdrop:
What the hell is going on the ground down there? :omfg: It will be hilarious if Ukraine walks away from this war with Belgorod region. :roflol:

Russia helped draft the international laws including the penalties that Russia under Putin and his minions are now violating.
Justice is not likely to be blind enough to give Putin a walk.

What good does it do when the Ukrainian armies are trapped in cauldrons, and all supply routes and installations are being bombed. This would account for all the false flag media accounts. It's a sign of desperation.

Russia is preparing itself now for the biggest battle in the war. In 2 weeks Odessa will fall. After that probably Kharkov, although the Russian people, or so I read, expect the war to last maybe 2 years. They want all of Ukraine to be cleansed.

It will likely be cleansed of Russian troops sooner than 2 years.

Russian Offensive Campaign Assessment, April 5
    Apr 5, 2022 - Press ISW

Russian forces continued to reposition to continue their invasion in eastern and southern Ukraine, having abandoned the attack on Kyiv. They have largely completed their withdrawal from the Kyiv area and are reportedly redeploying some of the withdrawn combat forces from Belarus to Russia. Ukrainian forces are moving to regain control over segments of the state border in Chernihiv, having already done so in Kyiv and Zhytomyr Oblasts. Russian troops are pulling back toward Russia along the Sumy axis as well, but it is not yet clear if they intend to retreat all the way back to the border or will try to hold some forward positions on the Sumy axis.

Russia has not yet committed forces withdrawn from the Battle of Kyiv back into the fighting in eastern Ukraine. Russian reinforcements continuing the drive southeast from Izyum toward Slovyansk are from elements of 1st Guards Tank Army units that had been in the Kharkiv-Sumy area. Russian units that retreated from Kyiv will not likely regain combat effectiveness for some time, and it is not clear that the Russians intend to return them to the fight soon. That said, an unconfirmed Ukrainian military intelligence report suggests that Moscow could soon send the 64th Motorized Rifle Brigade of the 35th Combined Arms Army, a unit that reportedly committed war crimes in Bucha, into the fight in eastern Ukraine in the hopes that guilty members of that brigade and witnesses of its war crimes are killed in combat with Ukrainian forces.[1]

Belgorod continues to emerge as the primary concentration area for Russian forces regrouping and refitting after their retreat from Kyiv and in preparation for onward movement to their home stations or to join the fighting in the east. Elements of the Central Military District pulling back from Chernihiv Oblast are reportedly on their way to Belgorod.[2] Their final destination is not yet known.

The Battle of Mariupol continues, with Russian forces continuing to pound the city using artillery and airpower. The constrained information environment in Mariupol prevents us from assessing concrete changes in control of terrain, but Ukrainian forces appear to be sustaining organized resistance in parts of the city.

Russian offensive operations southeast from Izyum toward Slovyansk continued on a small scale and made limited progress. Russia has not yet attempted to mass large concentrations of forces on this axis but continues instead to send individual battalion tactical groups to advance on their own.

    Key Takeaways

    • The withdrawal of Russian forces from around Kyiv is nearing completion.
    • Russia has not yet introduced forces withdrawn from western Ukraine into the fight in the east.
    • Ukrainian forces continued to put up organized resistance in parts of Mariupol.
    • Russian forces conducted limited offensive operations on the Izyum-Slovyansk axis.

A well known Russian sock puppet.

After Russia's invasion of Ukraine in February 2022, Macgregor appeared on three Fox News programs to speak in support of Russia's actions. Russian state television broadcast excerpts of Macgregor's appearances, which included a characterization of Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelenskyy as a "puppet," that Russian forces had been "too gentle" in the early days of the invasion and that Russian president Vladimir Putin was being "demonized" by the United States and NATO. Macgregor said he believed Russia should be allowed to seize whatever parts of Ukraine it wanted. After one of his appearances, Macgregor's comments were characterized by veteran Fox News Pentagon correspondent Jennifer Griffin as "appeasement" and that he was being an "apologist" for Putin. After Griffin's remarks, Tucker Carlson — who hosted Macgregor on two successive nights — remarked, "Unlike many of the so-called reporters you see on television, he is not acting secretly as a flack for Lloyd Austin at the Pentagon. No, Doug Macgregor is an honest man." Trey Gowdy, another Fox News host who interviewed Macgregor, said his viewpoint was "stunning and disappointing."[35][36][37][38] U.S. representative Liz Cheney said of Macgregor "This is the Putin wing of the GOP."[39]

Actually they're all held up in a Steel industry complex. Some Ukrainians surrendered to the DPR because they were afraid of Azov. Russia said the army was free to leave along a path protected by Kiev, but they refused, so their fate now doesn't look too well. As for Azov, they're goners and they know it. Some try to escape dressed as women, but their Nazi tattoos give them away. I'm sure they're killed on the spot by the Chechens - who by the way are well trained and are now going to enter the building.

The Russians have told the people in Slovyansk and the other towns to leave so they can't be used as human shields when the battle starts.

What's not being mentioned, is that the Russians have been bombing the oil depots and military installations continuously - which also includes Kharkov and Odessa. Armies cannot fight without fuel and equipment. Right now there are anywhere from 70 to 90 thousand Ukrainians trapped in Donbass. When the time comes, they will either surrender, (that is if Azov let's them), or die.
