and for the record, I never said that the climate of our planet was static and never changed. It has been changing for millions of years, and will be changing millions of years from now.

To be clear. Most liberals undersand that fracking CAN be done safley.

We just dont believe that the companies WILL do it safley. $$$ and shareholders are all that matters. Environmental protections will always take a second seat to that. So if you can get away with making the concrete casing only 4' instead of the recomended 8, then your going to, and consequences be (*)(*)(*)(*)ed.

Thats how I think most companies enganged in fracking think. Which is why I do not support fracking. The technology its self CAN be done safely, but I just dont trust the people doing it to actually DO it safely. It really is that simple.

Perhaps you forgot the Montreal Protocol and the ozone hole? CFCs were banned as a result. Do you have any idea just how much potential those compounds have for seriously compromising the protection we get from the ozone layer, and what the ramifications could be? We, us, men caused that damage, and that damage could have severely affected not only our climate, but the crops we rely on to feed ourselves and our foodstocks.
