Actually Syria didn't have the S-300. They were held back as a favor to Israel because their 200 mile range would have covered all of Israel, and the Israel jets could have been shot down at take off. Moscow as a favor returned the $400 million deposit to Assad.

Syria will now be supplied with the S-300's within two weeks, but that's not all. Shoigu explains in the video below what else will be given to Syria to protect Russian lives. This is not the first time though that Russian lives have been threatened by Israel. This thread give an account of the transactions between the two countries:

I'm glad the Russians are not laying down and let Israel walk over them. These new measures should help keep Israel at bay... preferably, they should stay in their own hole and close the door!

I'm going to render a guess here Jazz as to why Putin doesn't react harshly towards nations, but rather holds back - something he has been doing quite a bit with Israel considering their actions and how much Russia has done for them. I think it's because he doesn't want to upset and alienate those who do not agree with their governments actions.

It's unfortunate that some see Russia's tolerance as a weakness and keep on pushing to see how far they can go. Here is what Russia has done for Israel:

1 -The Russian military worked with the Syrian military operation in the Golan Heights to "ensure there were no shelling attacks on Israeli territory" anymore, thus allowing the UN peacekeeping mission to resume patrolling of the contested border between Syria and Israel after "a six-year hiatus."

2- Russia also managed to secure the withdrawal of all Iran-backed groups from the Golan Heights to a "safe distance for Israel," more than 140 kilometers to the east of Syria, the spokesperson said, adding that this was done at the request of Tel Aviv. "A total of 1,050 personnel, 24 MLRSs and tactical missiles, as well as 145 pieces of other munitions and military equipment were withdrawn from the area," Konashenkov told journalists.

4- The Russian Defense Ministry had provided assistance in preserving Jewish sacred places and graves in the city of Aleppo. Putting Russian Special Forces soldiers' lives in danger, it also organized the search for the remains of some Israeli servicemen that died during the past conflicts in an area where the Syrian forces were combating Islamic State (IS, former ISIS) terrorists at that time.

5- Russia returned $400 million to Assad as a favor to Israel, since Russia's S-300 would have been able to cover all of Israel's airspace, and knock down the jets the minute they took off.

6- Russia has sent as many as 310 notifications to the Israeli Air Force Command, while the latter appeared to be reluctant to show the same level of commitment, notifying only 25 times even though its jets carried out more than 200 strikes against targets located in Syria over the past 18 months alone.

You once again seem to have managed to manipulate the main context of my thread. It is likely because you did not like where it headed after "Taliban - ISIS - Russia" triangle emerged on my post... It's a Jeannette classic...
I can still turn it back around but I will let you play this time for a reason I will not disclose.

Sounds something big is coming... Let's see if that's the case.

I heard shelling have been reported even after the assurance.

Yes, "securing nicely the withdrawal of all Iran-backed groups" instead of preventing them from ever entering and getting positioned around Israeli borders.

    What happened to #3?

As if them special forces had something better to do rather than drinking vodka and training Wagner's Jihadi Chechens, and sending them to the east to watch them get smoked. What a big deal...

I think now is the best time for providing with some credibility...

Did Assad really have that much of money? Like seriously?

Israel is "fighting for the security of its nation and state by eliminating DIRECT THREATS on proximity of its borders", that we all know unequivocally.
Aside from the fact that there is still a great deal of dispute regarding Russia's real purposes in Syria, the general idea is that since Russia is allied with Iranian Jihadis, Israel may very well be confident that any information provided with the Russian side is actually providing information with "the enemy side".
    Truth hurts, I know...

No, Trump is committing treason by providing aid and comfort to Al Qaeda.

And before you repeat your false statement yet again, you should probably familiarize yourself with the actual, legal definition of treason instead of adhering to the imaginary version of treason you and other Russia-haters made up within the last year.

I'll give you a hint: As the USA and Russia are not in a declared state of war, they are not enemies under US law. Therefore, any cooperation or protection offered to Putin by Trump does not meet the legal definition of treason per the US constitution.

The worst terrorist attack in US history is irrelevant to US foreign policy? Do you think Americans will be persuaded by your silly assertion?

Iran did not murder 3,000 Americans in one day by flying planes into our buildings, Al Qaeda did. Al Qaeda is in Idlib. Trump is protecting them. Trump is a traitor.

Israel is not the most reliable friend and ally of the US, they are a treacherous, parasitic entity that causes us nothing but trouble.

Iran is helping Russia to destroy Al Qaeda and ISIS, the real jihadis, the ones you and your Turkish government have been siding with for years now. Good for Iran and Russia. They are doing what the treasonous Trump promised he would do.

    Prove it.

I'm an American who is sick and tired of the corrupt US government stealing my money and lying to me about everything. I'm also sick and tired of foreign interlopers like you who try to use the power and wealth of America in service of your own agendas. So as a small contribution to my country, I come to this forum and refute your lies and propaganda in the hope that a few Americans might notice and wake up.

Blah blah blah... more anti-Russian hysteria meant to distract from AL QAEDA who murdered 3,000 Americans on 9/11.

If Syria, Russia, and Iran want to crush AL QAEDA in Idlib, then I support them 100%. The treasonous Trump needs to get out of the way and let them do what he promised he would do during his presidential campaign.

Al Quaeda is not in Idlib.

The 9/11 attackers died in the attack.

That is, of course, a very impressive list... Putin comes across as a slave grovelling before his master. Why does he do that? He wants to please them, no doubt! Why does he want to please them, if he doesn't owe them?
My guess is he is scared of their power. Israel and US together could eliminate Russia, no sweat.

Have we all forgotten the Jewish oligarchs during and after Yeltsin's reign? Remember how they looted and bought up cheaply Russia's big companies and resources? Wasn't
Berezovsky even going to take over as leader? But then Putin came and put an end to it! Several, those that didn't flee, went to jail. Imagine the embarrassment for the Jews!!
Surely, they would love to get their hands around his neck!
So, maybe it is fear for his life that he now woos and awes them front, back and sideways.

I found an article in the Jewish paper, where a certain Mr. Kalb is quoted as saying:

"...Putin’s courting of Russia’s Jews is the result of cold calculation, not emotion."

“He reaches out to the Jews of Russia for reasons relating to old-fashioned Slavic anti-Semitism and the new requirements of Russian policy in the Middle East.”

“Russian nationalists have long believed that Jews are troublemakers, capable of arousing the public with anti-establishment (anti-Putin) sentiments. Better, if possible, to soothe their unhappiness with mild, agreeable words."

Make sure you read the full article here:

    ----------
Does anyone remember how brutal Putin went to work against the Chechen? How he lay Grozny in ruins?
The man is not a ***** cat! He realizes he is in competition with Trump for Jewish friendship. Just now he found out that he is only #2 in Netanyahu's book.
Netanyahu is riding two horses, so to speak, he uses them both to his advantage.

While it's good to see you back after your long absence Peter, I note that you still spout the same drivel as you always did.

For example; Israel being the most reliable ally and friend the US has. Guffaw upon guffaw. Everyone knows that role is and has been held by Blighty dear boy.

Next we have the nonsense that Iran has been destabilising Iraq, Syria and Yemen. When you wrote that were you standing on your head? Because it's not only back-to-front, it's upside down as well. The US, Saudi and Israel are guilty of that task.

But what's the point f even trying to discuss these matters with you. You're locked in to your opinion and nothing will change it.

    Yes, they are.

Are you unaware of the fact that Al Qaeda consists of more than just a few 9/11 hijackers? It's an international terrorist organization with thousands of members and dozens of affiliates.

It was, at peak a mercenary outfit operating in Afghanistan. An army of around 3,000 men.

After it's blame for 9/11 it became a cause celebe for all anti American Jihadi types. Many sought to associate themselves with that name.
But the guys who did 9/11, they died in the plane. No vengeance for you.
Osama Bin Laden? It wasn't him who did it, sorry.

Being affiliated to Al Quaeda is not being Al Quaeda.

There are no Al Quaeda in Idlib.
Does Al Quaeda even exist any more? Doubtful.

Plenty of other jihadi group's left for you to worry about. Plenty more who hate America,

No one can eliminate Russia - and believe me they tried. Look, Russia has everything to gain in Syria right now, and after what the US did, Washington has everything to lose - and that's why they are freaking out. No matter how many traps the US sets, Putin will not fall into them.

Assad said he will not give any concessions to the oil and gas deposits to American companies. Syria now is a Russian protectorate. What bothers the US even more though is that it will be part of China's 'Belt and Road' initiative.

They ran out so they wouldn't pay taxes which is the only thing Putin demanded of them, other than not to be involved in politics. There are though many Jewish oligarchs in Russia who do pay taxes, and have contributed heavily to different projects. As an example, when he rebuilt Socchi for the Olympic Games and turned it into a major resort, the 55 billion didn't come out of the Russian budget. Putin made the oligarchs pay.

The US tried to hurt the games with the idea that if the billionaires didn't get a return on their investments that they would overthrow Vladimir Putin - and this is where their stupidity lies. Putin unlike the US is not dependent on his survival from the rich, since he can easily nationalize their companies. His political power stems from the people, as well as the Intelligence services which he was once a part of.

Everyone has their opinion, but one person's opinion, even though it might be held by many Jews, does not mean that it is the opinion of all the Jews. To be honest though it freaks me out the way they harp on past sufferings, when other people have suffered persecution as well, but don't harp on it. Anyway, the negative passions it creates ends up working towards one's own detriment in the end.

Everyone thought that Chechnya was lost, and with it the oil pipelines that run through it, and which was Russia's lifeline. Of course the CIA was involved, and when Putin told Bush, the response was that the US can do whatever it wants. Putin's response was that one doesn't help terrorists without it backfiring. Two weeks later 911 happened.

Putin said then that Chechnya will be settled in two weeks, and it was. He laid the city in ruins, and the ones who suffered the most were the Russians living there since the Chechnyans had their villages to go to. At the time, Putin took a chance and went against everyone by trusting the Mufti (Kadyrov's father), and spoke to him. This is where his relationship with Kadyrov started, and today Kadyrov is in charge of protecting all of the Caucasus from terrorists.

Vladimir Putin rebuilt Chechnya, and the gratitude is immense. Chechnyan soldiers are being used where Russian soldiers cannot be used - such as in the Donbas as volunteers, and also in Syria where they are trusted by other Sunnis. I also read that many of Kadyrov's men are embedded in the terrorist camps as spies.

Anyway this is an example of how Putin works. He never does anything out of vengeance, and makes sure Russia will always gain from his response. He did that with the sanctions by using the opportunity to embargo EU goods and build up Russia's own industries.

The government in Israel is not the best, we know that, I mean for God's sake, they're even clamping down on the Messianic Jews. But let's look at the alternative. Do you really want Jerusalem and Israel in Islamic hands? I don't! So one has to keep a balance regardless of how much animosity they arouse with their actions. Hopefully the government will change someday as well as the governments of those that want to destroy Israel.

I think there's an agenda, and the nonsense is spouted with the belief that if something is repeated often enough people will believe it - otherwise why would he be saying it? People can't be that stupid. Then again there is projection, and we can only see others through our own eyes.

What Assad says and wants is irrelevant to the US and Israel and France etc. He is only still there because of Putin.
As to eliminating Russia, you are probably right, BUT it can be weakened from within by the same powers that control the US.
Of course they now pay their taxes and please Putin. Who wants to go to jail?
The latter fact is what enables him the most to analyze any situation and still keep his calm. As he has just demonstrated again. And I am sorry to have doubted him. Here is an excerpt from an article by Moon of Alabama:

The Russian Minister of Defense today (Sept. 25th] announced some of the measures to be taken in Syria in response to last weeks destruction of its electronic warfare plane with 15 airmen on board. Yesterday the Russian MoD held Israel responsible for the incident.
Yes, the Jews have a monopoly on suffering!! AND revenge measures! Not only are 96 year-old watchmen and bookkeepers still being dragged before the courts for having known what was happening, NO... the poor hapless Palestinians, young and old, are killed on a daily basis since the 1940s, while at the same time losing more and more of their land and possessions. All legitimate in the Jewish mind!
Oh WOW!!! I didn't put 2 + 2 together. Of course, the US had to find a way of pretending to go after the terrorists... in reality they went for the jugular of Russia's pipelines in Afghanistan!
O.k., I remember some of the events, especially how they killed young Chechens and butchered them for their organs. They had portable labs handy and then sold these organs for thousands in Europe. The corpse was then dumped into a ditch where relatives would find them. THAT was a horrible crime and whoever is responsible for it, should be treated likewise!
You know a lot about that section - I don't, unfortunately. My heart went out to the Chechnyan people... I hated, at that time, the bloody Russians, remembering the hordes that came into Germany in 1945!
Apparently they have civilized themselves since then. At least they got rid of or curbed the Communists/Zionists.
I know from the German Forum that many Germans would be happy to partner with the Russians, but the US hates and fears that and makes sure it will not happen.
Yes, I admire him for his resourcefulness, and there is nothing wrong for looking out for his own people first. Trump and Netanyahu do the same, except more by destroying and looting weaker countries.
Oh my, YOU, an American, wants to have a say in who gets to worship in Jerusalem and who lives in Palestine? The Nerve!! What on earth is wrong with the Palestinians, who have lived there for thousands of years? I want THEM to live there in peace and happiness!!! The Jews are happy in the USA and now starting a new colony in Argentina. They are a wandering tribe and like to live anywhere across the globe as long as they can do business and control the banks.

Anyway, back to the Moon of Alabama: To make it short...

Israel knows that it can only do little against the Russian responses to its devious attack. That is why some of its lawmakers now ask for even greater U.S. involvement in Syria. The U.S. military will not be happy about that.

No. Trump is committing treason by siding with a KGB agent (Putin) and going "knowingly" against the IC findings.

No, it is entirely irrelevant to the fact that Iranian Jihadi terror factions are illegally being in Syria, threatening the very security of Israel, and yet are "openly" supported, protected (via air defenses) and aided by the Russian Federation's official military units, who were "allegedly" tasked in Syria "to fight against those very same Jihadi terror factions"...
If Russia does not recognize them as terrorist factions then chances are Russia is also a terrorist sponsor state. It actually has a proven record that it has been involved in terrorist activities by killing innocent citizens in Beslan, Moscow Theater, Georgia, Ukraine, Chechnya, now in Afghanistan by supporting Taliban and sending sons of innocent families to Syria as contract killers operating "illegally" under Wagner teams. Yes, Russia is definitely a terror sponsor state.

There is no Al Qaeda in Idlib. Their leader has been killed in Pakistan years back. America would still fight Al Qaeda in Idlib if there were any, but the fact of the matter is "the Astana trio" are done sharing the province well over a year ago and have been in control in and around for even a longer period. So you're barking at the wrong door son.

Israel is a friend and ally to the US and its security is as important as America's due to a list of strategic reasons that concern not just the peace in the ME but in the entire world.

Hmmm... I think this stupid argument of yours is enough to discredit your entire position because it just reveals that you don't know what you are talking about. Though considering the level of your knowledge regarding what is going on in the region, it is normal to have such blunders.
The Turkish government has been a partner to Russia and Iran in Syria since 2016 and this partnership is 100% official with many binding agreements (not just Astana).
These 3 have also been acting together in Idlib with "fully coordinated", and sometimes "joint", military maneuvers/tasks.
So if one is sided with the Al Qaeda then that means all 3 are sided with Al Qaeda.
    Thanks for the self-refutation.

    My pleasure:

On July 16, 2018, the Russian President’s special envoy to Afghanistan, Zamir Kabulov, announced that the Russian government would invite Taliban representatives to a Moscow-format meeting

    Source Russian News Agency: http://tass.com/politics/1013287

On June 20, U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Alice Wells condemned Russia’s strategy of arming the Taliban against ISIS, and urged Russia to support peace talks that strengthened the position of Afghanistan’s legitimate government. Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova replied by vigorously denying Wells’ allegations. In spite of Zakharova’s denials, Washington’s chief military commander in Afghanistan, Lieutenant General Scott Miller, stated on Afghanistan’s largest media network, Khaama News Agency, that Russia supported Taliban fighters, alongside Pakistan and Iran.

    Source: https://thediplomat.com/2018/07/why-has-russia-invited-the-taliban-to-moscow/

    Prove you are American !

Blah blah blah... more anti-US hysteria meant to distract from Russia's and Iran's sponsoring of terror that murdered thousands of Americans (more than 6 thousand only in Afghanistan by Taliban) in the Middle East.

The treasonous Trump who sides with a terror sponsor KGB agent needs to leave the WH to the patriots who have already been serving their country by taking care of crucial foreign policy issues very well, despite him being there...

Note: Jeannette supports Trump, you should be for him (Jeannette) getting banned for that...

Seems there was a lot of lies and propaganda against Russia then, because the only people I know that were killed for body parts were the Christian Serbs, and it was the Muslim Albanian terrorists who were doing the killing. We supported them of course, and demonized the Serbs.

The Russians I knew wouldn't dare step into Chechnya for fear of their lives. According to a speech Kadyrov made when he offered the services of his men to help Russia, the country was being ripped apart by the terrorists. He and his men made vows then that they will fight terrorists wherever they are.

These terrorists were coming in from the Gulf states, and the CIA was embedded with them, and this is what Putin fears and why he went into Syria. Russia was always dependent on the Shia crescent as a barrier between Russia's southern flank with its moderate Sunnis, and the jihadists from the Gulf states, and the US is trying to destroy it by driving a wedge between Syria, Iraq and Iran.

If you look at the last century, there have been millions of people who have been ethnically cleansed, as well as genocides and exchanges of populations - especially in Asia Minor and Eastern and Central Europe. The only difference between the Palestinians and the others, is that the Palestinians harp on it, the way the Jews harp on their persecutions. If the Palestinians were given a right of return, then shouldn't all the other nations have a right of return as well?

In this 2014 video, Kadyrov wants to prove the loyalty of Chechnya to the Russian people by calling all his men to gather at the stadium and to be prepared to fight for Russia. If you get on to 2:55 you will hear Kadyrov's speech, and how the terrorists were tearing it apart.

Here's a video of Evgeny Rodonov, and what was done to him for refusing to take off his cross. We supported the terrorists then to rip Russia apart, the way we are doing in Syria, while the propaganda networks were condemning the Russians.

Israel, US and KSA would be worse off by any destabilization of Iraq, Syria and Yemen for number of different reasons "some" of which can be listed as:

    1) Syria's destabilization is bad for Israel, US and KSA because:

    Israel:
    • Israel cannot hold responsible a legitimate government for terrorist activities it directly faces from a neighbor in chaos.
    • Therefore Israel would not be able to call international community take action against a legitimate government who ignores such activities
    • Eventually, Israel would have to take action on its own to eliminate the threat directed at its national security.
    The US and KSA:
    • US could not control what kind of non-state actors would be involved and what state actors would be benefited from such involvement.
    • That would jeopardize US interests due to the possibility hostile non-state actors would take control in parts of the country.
    • These actors would likely be supported Iran. An Iranian march toward west would have natural outcome of balancing a Sunni Arab majority with Shiite favoring demographics (via populations carried from Iraq and Iran to Syria). Such a balance would be disfavoring KSA because it can influence the mentioned Arab majority by using sect and ethnicity.
    2) Iraq's destabilization is bad for Israel, US and KSA because:

    Israel:
    • Iraq's destabilization would render Iran to take advantage of the situation and give it a chance to control parts of the country.
    • Iran's influence in the country would be growing as the majority of Iraqi population is Shiite. There are large groups sympathetic to Iran.
    • Such influence in Iraq would mean national security threat to Israel because;
      • Iraq is bordering Syria from the west which is also bordering Israel. Iran's proxies could reach Israel via using a path from Basra to western Iraq, and from there to Syrian desert and finally to Golan Heights.
      • The same path could go all the way to west to Lebanon-Syria border to supply the most notorious Iranian proxy that has been hostile to Israel since it was founded; Hezbollah.
    US:
    • US would have to face the risk of losing political influence over Iraqi government, which would cost US many things on a scale from losing a strategic partner as a whole to the gains in the KRG area, and Basra, as well as some business privileges.
    KSA:
    • Iraq has a very long border with the KSA. A destabilized neighbor would make KSA vulnerable to hostile non-state actor attacks.
    • Destabilized Iraq would also mean a weakening hand for KSA in Persian gulf.
    • It would also jeopardize relations with neighboring Jordan as it would also be neighboring a destabilized Iraq.
    3) Yemen's destabilization is bad for Israel, US and KSA because:

    Israel-KSA-US:
    • Yemen is a gateway, along with Djibouti, to the Red Sea. Israel and KSA has shores to the Red Sea, therefore Yemen's stability has utmost importance to Israel's and KSA's security in both economical and political wise.
    • Any disruption to Yemen's stability also means security risks to many Eastern African nations, the stability of whom again are crucial to the security of both KSA and Israel.
    • Destabilized Yemen is a direct threat to KSA's overall national security as they are sharing the same piece of land with artificial borders.
    • The above are directly conflicting the US interests because KSA and Israel have long been the only reliable strategic and economical partners to the United States in the entire region.

Bless you Goody. You do try hard, I'll give you that.

But what is "bad" for the three war-craving entities you reference is not the same of blaming the regional instability on Iran. As Jeanette pointed out above what we're all witnessing here is a shadow projection - blaming Iran for the actions the US, Israel and Saudi have undertaken. My take is that the cunning buggers behind this know full well what they do. Which is to gull great swathes of the American public who are happy to go along with this shadow play.

But not everyone else in the world is quite so daft, blinkered and soporific as those segments of the well trained American public that almost always howl for war and blood -- and are content to allow the treasure of the US to be sucked into the great dark hole of greed and graft that is known as the defence industry.

It is too bad those webpages that were showing photos and told the stories of the atrocities committed against the Chechnyans are no longer available.
As to the Muslim Albanians doing the killing for body parts, why not mention Israel, who is much more involved in that kind of business. Just one little snipit with video:
Israel accused of organ harvesting in Haiti.
The IDF was first on the scene for a reason. Like vultures they wanted the best body parts for themselves.
    http://truedemocracyparty.net/2012/...icking-nato-ushers-in-human-organ-harvesting/
Wasn't it all about Chechnyans wanting independence from Moscow? If the US is involved then we know for sure it is serious business. But didn't Russia (Stalin??) already mistreat the Chechnyans and the Dagestans etc. by transporting them far away to Siberia? So many died of exposure and starvation. And then Putin came in and mercilessly destroyed the country and many innocent Chechnyans.
    Read about...

The second Chechen war: a Grozny teenager's diary
Author Polina Zherebtsova – who was 14 when conflict began – publishes journal on taboo subject despite death threats.

Russia has had its fill with internal upheavals. Most of their leaders were brutal and corrupt. Putin was brutal at times, now he is just firm and steady. It can't be easy to keep such a large country together without a stick. Kadyrov being that "stick" for the Chechnyans!

Solzhenitsyn has written extensively about the hardships of the Russian people. I feel for them! Perhaps I lived in Russia in a previous life!!
Oh yes, I'm all for it! Let's return the Germans back to their Reich! The Israeli Jews back to Kasaria and the Pals get their Palestine back, all of it. AND the Americans out of Germany with all their military kidnkabudel!!!!
Seriously, it would be no skin off the Israeli's nose, to get back to their originally allotted piece of land by the UN, and let the Pals have the rest of the country.
Holy Shyte! One hell of a fanatic! A reincarnation of the SS! But that is o.k. as long as they fight the real enemy. What they and you call the "terrorists" are only dumb guys who get paid for their mercenary services for the real terrorists.
The innocence he embodies! It is terrible what these so called "terrorists' are capable of! Humans can be so cruel and heartless, mainly when they have been brainwashed by some "superior" power, who hides somewhere in an office or palast, as we have seen with the Americans torturing Arabs...

Lyndie English in Abu Graib, a prison run by the American Army. Just a brainwashed kid!
I know, other countries torture just the same. It is a shameful crime and the decent people should always condemn and expose it if possible.

In my part of the world the sun is shining and I will go outside now and soak up some Vitamin D!:sun: :relax:

Your hypothesis: "The US, Saudi and Israel are guilty of having been destabilizing Iraq, Syria and Yemen."
The key here -although you failed pointing out as any objective person would do- is the word "guilty".
It is to be taken as an indication of "at least" 51% of likelihood emphasis on the judgement because guilt can be shared not just with the allied accomplices but with the hostile parties as well.
In other words; it is to say that Iraq, Syria and Yemen are "more than likely" (at least 51%) destabilized by the US Saudi and Israel.
That also means there's 49% chance (at most) that other countries might be destabilizing Iraq, Syria and Yemen.

My position: "The US, Saudi and Israel are NOT guilty of having been destabilizing Iraq, Syria and Yemen."
I refuted your judgement with what each and every one of the state actors taking part in this hybrid warfare set their strategies:
    "Geopolitical reasoning".
That is the best way to tackle hypotheses that are of concern a political reality getting shaped up over a "certain geographical region".

    Sleep well Dmitry...

    Syria:

I think we can add France, Turkey and the UK into the previously stated triangle of actors that have attempted - and seemingly now failed - to regime change Syria. Below Roland Dumas, former French foreign minister makes it clear that the UK was pushing the war in Syria on behalf of Israel. Anyone who knows how the UK operates understands that they were doing this with the knowledge and agreement of the US too.

In regard to the rest of your para's about 51% and 49%.... what a load of tosh. The facts are well established now and I can't think of anyone who can remotely be regarded as being serious who doubts that reality. But I give you credit for your original thinking.

    Yemen:

Very clearly Saudi is overwhelmingly guilty for their campaign in the Yemen. The US and UK are guilty of providing weapons used in this Saudi campaign.

    Iraq:

Iraq is an old on-going sore dating back two decades that has US neocons fingerprints all over it.

Currently suffering from a nasty cold Peter, so comfortable sleep is not presently an option. But hey, tonight I'll try a bottle of Burgundy and see if that helps the sheep to jump over the fence?

PS, say hello from me to your sisters Mopsy and Flopsy. Do you have a shirt of the same material? I suspect so. It's a delightful fabric, no?

Well done Dimitarious... You interestingly decided to bring forth one of the sources Jeanette's kind have been selling to the forum people. Lol.

    Let's break it down

Of course the US will take a clear stand behind Israel. It does not have another choice because Israel is "the ball of steel"; a democratic, secular parliamentary regime with a very united, loyal and smart population supporting the state and the military, located at the heart of all Islamic "tribal societies" in the world.
So, Iranian regime's survival is depending on how strong it can form what it calls an axis of resistance to halt any potential or kinetic expansion of such a pro-western society in the region. Ergo, from Iranian regime's perspective Iran should not only be resisting change targeting its own underdeveloped and fragile socio-economic structure but should also be doing so in societies surrounding it as much as possible. Because these surrounding societies are as well fragile in not so different terms, any uncontrolled -pro-western- change in them would be constituting a risk to the very legitimacy of the Iranian regime. Therefore Iranian regime's survival is as well depending on how good it manages to prevent these societies from succumbing to uncontrolled changes.
This is the core reason why Iran is infiltrating in them both militarily (proxy use) and socioculturally. And since it does not have enough power to counter or reverse the change by diplomatic pressures it prefers to play "hybrid" in "gray areas" (an invention by the like regimes to keep their dicta running their societies) like Russia and China do.

Why would Israel be embarrassed for not trusting a government (Russian) who is "officially" allied with a hostile regime and its military (Iranian)?
Apart from the nonsensical expectation above, Israel has informed Russia in many occasions of solid fueled missile developments of Syria.
Moreover, Russia was also informed about the measures that were to be taken had the developments not been stopped. Israel also provided Russia with documents showing parts of missiles being delivered to Hezbollah in Lebanon.
    Considering Syria is in deep need of "economical recovery" in the first place, plus the fact that Syrian leader is safely walking on the streets of Damascus without getting blown out by Israel and its other security concerns are "guaranteed" by Russia and Iran and when there's an undeniable IRGC presence around the production facilities, it is almost certain that the target for low range surface to surface missiles is Israel. However, Russia preferred to ignore the warnings and provided documents because;
    A) It can't go against Iran
    B) It saw an opportunity in letting Israel taking action on its own to figure the ways Israel uses in such operations (both intelligence and hit) so that it could improve the protection of such sites in Iran's favor.

Well, maybe choosing to fly a "spy plane" instead of helping out by at least "preventing any launch" during an Israeli operation was not that good of an idea?

Arms of Syria? The arms that walked up to the Russian Air base to hug Putin ? As tho Putin was the host? Lol...

That I agree with. S300s will be troubling for Russia.

Fortunately Peter, no one really takes what you post seriously. How can they given what you post?

However, if some new members arrive and make the error of taking you at face value (something that common sense would soon remedy) they would have to accept the theory that everyone who disagrees with your perennially rose tinted view of American foreign policy is Russian.

Which means that the population of that nation must now be by far the largest on the planet. Either that or recognise that it's your intellectual inflation of the realite that is at fault.

You know which one of these two possibilities I opt for.

But have a nice day anyway.
