Those never end well.... Vietnam...Iraq... etc etc. That always leads to further and greater conflict down the road as local political powers feel the new government is illegitimate and a puppet of foreign masters.

This is Russian times. I sure as **** hope that the Kremlin isn't stupid enough to use the "wasn't me" defense.

Somehow in the midst of bombing all of the civilian targets and infrastructure, Ukraine somehow managed to bounce some of those missiles into Poland. Lol

Literally nobody is gonna buy that excuse. And a quick investigation will easily confirm it's origin

Yea, so. Whoever replaces Putin would likely be even worse. So what.

This isn't going to end well. It never was.

I am very proud of it. Who is running out of the room screaming "it isn't our problem"? I don't see us doing that right now. In fact, we have been doing a lot to provide aid to the Ukraine.

Sooo...lets not take actions that will lead to further future conflicts. Let Russians deal with what happens internally with Russia. If they feel it is time for regime change, they'll do it themselves.

I will instruct the pentagon to cancel the invasion of Russia.

We are just people talking on the internet, let's not act like what we say matters.

None of us have even 1% of the information required to make an informed decision about what is going on in Ukraine.

My idea is that now a Russian missile has killed two people in NATO country, the west has every right to defend itself according to its charter and send a "stray" armed drone over the Kermlin.
At a time of course determined by our embedded personnel .
Alternatively, to be considered weak and divided by that maniac Putin.
You like to debate vocabulary? Or live under fascism?
You do realise he has arms that will reach Alaska USA and beyond, don't you?

Then, if you are so keenly aware, it's pretty obvious that the purpose of your post and you quoting me must be a symptom of choosing which commitments to honor since it appears to be a choice vs a noble agreement. As for meaningless, you do you since the meaning of commitment is apparently a last minute "choice" of convenience.

I try not to suffer fools nor foolishness.

Russian is not a democracy generated by western freedoms.
They like powerful males who ride horses bareback.
    Clue the metaphor.
And if you object, you disappear. Even if you are not in Russia.
Putin likes to play with nuclear additions to tea and perfume and redecorating doorknobs.
Capitulate and this is your future.

if they are willing to live with that, then so be it. If they don’t want that, eventually they will rebel. It’s on them.

however, we should definitely aid our allies in defending themselves.

Indeed do. Along with our allies.
But this is different. It is painless to send money and arms.
Less painless to respond as we have all promised.
Putin has The Bomb. He is cornered . He can deliver that bomb to American soil.
All he has to do is fire one out of Siberia and hit California.

    Not to mention nuclear submarines.

I can't tell you how delightfully naive this is.
But you wouldn't be defending just your allies.
You would be defending yourselves. In fact.

I repeat this in the hopes that you will actually read it and understand what is at stake in reality.
    Wake up.

If there's so much at stake, you should demand your own country fully mobilize it's armed forces and ****ing attack.
