I kinda get the feeling Ryan and Obama are putting in significant effort to keep things civil. If they went balls deep smack talk it could create a dangerous political environment. Things weren't always like this...and it seems to me as time goes on things will get nastier and nastier until we have a very serious social problem on our hands. Keep it classy guys. A civil war would be disasterous.

Did we watch the same video? I saw a video of a guy who had a single talking point and said the same talking point with slightly different verbage in answer to whatever question was asked. A man that could not give a strait answer to any question and every answer started with "Obama is". Q: So is it not true that your plan also cuts over $500 Billion from medicare? A: We are not doing what Obama does when he cuts/raids medicare blah blah blah. Paul Ryan does not answer the question, or any question. The response to any question that he is asked about his plan begins with Obama. If you think this is some kind of genius, then I guess you don't comprehend when someone is feeding you BS. The reason Paul Ryan is not talking about his medicare plan is that it is far worse. The reason why he won't say what he is planning to cut is because it screws over people even more. And they are trying to buy their way with seniors by putting a delay in the effective date of their screwing over everyone so they can say that "current seniors" aren't screwed and buy the old person vote by claiming they will pay out more than Obama. Isn't that the entire gist of his "we are not cutting like Obama" is that he is claiming they will pay out even more than Obama to the current seniors? This is how they are going to save medicare, pay out even more?
Ryan is brilliant when he is given the opportunity to express policy in depth. Unfortunately, modern campaigns are fought in 30 second sound bites and the debates are not going to allow either candidate to show in-depth knowledge. Biden can bloviate tired diatribes that are short and succinct and he may still be able to challenge Ryan in a debate if the format and the moderators are going to facilitate the vacuousness of Biden. (Last I checked, debates will be moderated by mostly ninnies and the format will be conducive to 30 second bromides.)
Biden will simply ask what's the difference between the Ryan Plan and Romneys Premium Support Program ... Romney has had to backtrack from the Ryan Plan by stating that his ideas didn't always see eye to eye with Ryan ... of course this was a flip flop from the day before ..
You mean the plan where tax cuts miraculously cause the unemployment rate to drop to 3% and GDP growth to reach all time highs and senior citizens have to pay twice as much on their healthcare as they get vouchers from the government... yea, I've read that plan.
