Like I just posted on another thread, goody, you're soon going to get the war you've been wanting for so long, and nothing can stop it. If you're in the US, I just hope you'll feel satisfied when nukes are dropping all around you, that those with your mindset did their bit for making it happen.

It's too late, the genie is out of the bottle, and she's responsible for kicking off WW3. .

I didn't make no challenges to the entire "rule-based" order by implementing hybrid warfare and gray zone tactics here and there... I haven't been sending no kill squads to foreign countries to take out whoever pisses me off... I didn't blackmail stupid businessmen to make presidents out of them and then expect no retaliation... Because dude I'm not Putin... So it ain't me wanting that war...

And what makes you believe Putin did it? Or indeed anyone did it? Don't answer that because I don't want to read any more of your ****!

And because she insists upon NOT holding her tongue, one must question her motives. In reality, she offers nothing but hints and allegations with no facts or evidence at all. One need not be Sherlock Holmes to understand her motives. That all the western governments have followed suit carries some meaning.

Agreed. And it is the underlying motive for this unproved storm that continues to intrigue me.

My initial theory was that it was a deflection to escape her domestic troubles over Brexit (now settled - more or less). On the other hand, everywhere I look at those Russians who've died in the UK under suspicious circumstances in the last decade or so, I find the rank smell of organised criminals present. The May (and Cameron) government have accepted money from Russian crooks ---- er, oligarchs ---- for their political party; and many thoughts therefore arise on this angle too, with deflection being another consideration.

In the last analysis, it's too early to say. And we may never know. There were probably a number of different reasons that combined in a perfect storm to make Putin-bashing to attractive to resist.

Meanwhile, I have also been pondering the Detective Sergeant who was hospitalised and allegedly poisoned too - although he has now left hospital, whereas the Skripal's are still in a coma and unlikely to recover. Almost nothing is known about this guy. The media hails him as a hero but we, the public, aren't told why. In fact, in regard to him we aren't told a damn thing at all.

A friend sent me the below link, wherein a journalist (apparently) left a message on Craig Murray's website:

    https://www.craigmurray.org.uk/arch...-a-categorical-liar/comment-page-11/#comments

What this suggests to me is that the DSgt is probably Special Branch (now known as the Counterrorism Unit), who are the pavement beaters for MI5.

    It gets murkier and murkier...

Wow, stuff does happen, and powerful people do control the world. Shame of it is they are all criminals. Or so it seems. They write the laws so they know best how to find the loopholes.

I say they did this just to vilify Putin in the public's eye, and to lay the groundwork for a military strike. MH17 worked beautifully 3 years ago.

I'll leave member here to giggle amongst themselves.

This is, apparently, the UK's "Briefing Paper" to the UK on the Skripal affair that led most of them to conclude to it was "very likely" that Russia was behind use of a military grade Novichok chemical agent attack.

    See HERE.

Nothing beats slide 4 imo. When it comes to "facts" to support another factual thesis look no further than Russia for hacking the DNC server or shooting down MH-17 etc etc. They are guilty as charged. Obviously. It says so there on slide 4.

I heard that as many as 20 countries produce that toxic agent "Novichock". How somebody estimated "it's the Russians" is beyond me. :bonk:

Military grade Novichok delivered by aerosol kills in seconds. Delivered in powdered form "takes longer" - maybe a minute or two. IT is, after all, the most potent nerve agent known to mankind.

The Skripal's were poisoned at their home. This according to Lord Blair, the former Metropolitan Police Chief. And yet having been poisoned, they had time to travel to Zizzi restaurant, enjoy a leisurely meal (maybe visiting a pub afterwards?) and then strolling along the street to enter a shopping mall, walk through that and collapse on a park bench.

Theresa May and the UK talks utter bollocks

Well 'Novichok' does sound Russian, so that means the Russians must have made it? Or likely did, or overwhelmingly did, or back to likely did. I'm waiting for another 'overwhelmingly' did to even it up a bit.

Macedonia meddling and "Turkey's coup" are widely missed on that... Apart from these the slide #4 looks just fine:

I have read in Wikipedia that in 2016 Iranian chemists had synthesized five Novichok agents for analysis - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Novichok_agent

And I believe that it is possible to synthesize it in one of the more developed countries (like Great Britain) too.

Citation from the UK's "Briefing Paper"

British military could poison Skripal in order to get a cause for demanding for an increased financing.
Ukrainians could do it in order to make worse the relations between Great Britain and Russia.
    And so on.

One can make a long list of persons and countries who “have combined capability, intent and motive to do it”.
But investigation of a crime must not become an enumeration of persons and countries who “have combined capability, intent and motive”.

Investigation is a search for evidences, not for capabilities, intents and motives.
