    why are presidential candidates always so OBSESSED with Israel?

    why do they always talk about how they will support Israel better then the OTHER guy?

    No. We currently serve Israel. As an American Jew, I am conflicted on this matter. However, from analyzing our relationship with Israel, we could abandon the slave mentality, and implement a revamped and better partnership with Israel.
