Well the problem is it's up to different people depending on politics. We're talking about a constitutional right. If this passes and it works honestly during Donald Trump's term he's not going to be president forever.

As it happens, I am watching this clip and the red flag thing is discussed starting at about 8:58

Bill Weld mentions "a sufficient history of violence or violent tendencies" and, e.g. having a hit list in school. It would involve getting an injunction from a judge. Going by that, it probably wouldn't mean disarming neo nazis.

We have a process already. It's called the legal system. We just have to use it.

What do you mean? We disarm felons, i.e. people who have already committed serious crimes. What else is there?

Felons were convicted through due process of law. That is the threshold to strip rights from people.

Red flag is an attempt to deny due process.

Mooch was a hump to the left when he worked for Trump. Now he says something bad about Trump, he's the Oracle of Pythia.

I would assume that the person concerned could put up a defense in the process, which we know involves a judge at least. If not, then I'd have to agree with you.

after Trump loses in 2020, you will be hard pressed to find anyone that admits to ever supporting the man, he is an embarrassment to the party and the country

It doesn't concern you that Trump hires a lot of losers and criminals? You would be OK with 3 of Obama's top people going to jail? Publicly feuding with his own former Press Secretary? No, you wouldn't be of course. That's suspicious as ****. Isn't it?

Considering they were people convicted on process crimes during the Deep State witch hunt, no. Obama would have gotten as many if not more convicted had he gotten the same treatment, starting with his corrupt hag Sec of State. Obama and his people had a lot to do with the corrupt origins of this hoax, we will find out soon enough.

You're going to call up a bunch of people for jury duty to decide something like this?
All CNN does is report & comment on the facts. It's no worse than any other cable news network, especially Fox News.

It is also notable that you have to invent CNN fake news to illustrate your point here.

Throw away the Second Amendment to it, because it's BS today.

Get two thirds of the Congress and two thirds of the states to agree and it'll be amended.

If only this weren't a bitter partisan issue, it probably could be done.
