One guy at one event versus all the violence at the Antifa and BLM rallies and protest and trying to stop conservatives from speaking?

The schools aren't sanctioning anything except the student's right to attend such an event.

    Sorry I made a typo

Yes an excused absence, so the school specifically sanctioned these students going to this protest so that means they have to allow students to attend ALL protest.

Yes, they can go to any protest so long as they don't violate the number of absences allowed.

Predict being they key word. Sorry, epic fail in that analogy. Science never claims that the path they predict for a hurricane is the only possible path. It's why they always give us more than one prediction.

I'm going to assume that you support Trump's idiotic claim that hurricane Dorian would "hit Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Alabama" was valid, even in light of the solid scientific fact that no hurricane could travel that path, or even cross Florida, hit Georgia and Alabama, then turn and cross an even larger land mass to strike the Carolinas. I'm assuming this because you chose to use a hurricane prediction as your analogy. Am I wrong?

Unless of course it's a left wing cause then it's apparently fine as I have shown in several other post and the violence is threatened in this instance because cheer leaders dared go agains the Trump haters

As with most threads with this number of messages tangential issues get injected. Were you to go back you would find I supported the school and clearly said the cheerleaders, if at a school function representing the school as their cheerleaders and in uniforms were wrong to do what they did.

I AM on subject, my friend. Answer my questions, don't dodge them by claiming I'm off topic.

The school didn't "make an issue out of cheerleaders support for our duly elected president ..." They would take the same action no matter what part of the political spectrum a possible threat was coming from, because (as I've said several times here) their priority is to keep the children safe. period. You and many others here are trying to make this a case of censorship by liberals. It simply isn't.

It was an EXCUSE absence so it counts against nothing.

When I was in high school and planned to attend an anti-war protest, I didn't tell the school. I ditched. It was the practical thing to do as long as your parents A) knew what you were up to or B) were unlikely to find out. Are today's high school students really that stupid? I certainly hope not! Any idiot can manage a ditch day, right?

Cheerleaders should put up whatever banner they want. Without fear of consequences.

Which the court system have also said they can do. Hell a federal appeal court said that a football couch could pray on the field with his team and there was no issue.

I don't agree with the policy, but that county has one that prohibits political rallies at school events.

Because the school should not be espousing or sanctioning political issues. If the cheerleaders want to support Trump they can do so on their own time and their own dime and I encourage them to join the local chapter of the Teenage Republicans and they can get Trump or RNC uniforms and cheer.

Government school rallies, private schools set their own policies.

Yeah right, a quick web search ends that argument.
