Scientists Say They'll Have Cancer Cure in Next Year

A TEAM OF SCIENTISTS IN Israel says they'll likely have discovered a cure for cancer in the next year.

The Jerusalem Post reports the small team led by Accelerated Evolution Biotechnologies CEO Ilan Morad thinks it might have found the first complete cure – a treatment akin to a cancer antibiotic. The treatment, called MuTaTo (multi-target toxin), uses a combination of cancer-targeting peptides and a toxin that specifically kills cancer cells. And, because the cells would be killed, patients could likely stop treatment after a number of weeks and not need a drug cocktail throughout their lives, according to the report.

Dan Aridor, the chairman of the company's board, is confident in the team's progress.

"We believe we will offer in a year's time a complete cure for cancer," Aridor told the paper. He continued: "Our cancer cure will be effective from Day One, will last a duration of a few weeks and will have no or minimal side effects at a much lower cost than most other treatments on the market."

Morad told the Post that his team has concluded its first exploratory experiment on mice with promising results. The experiment showed inhibited human cancer cell growth and had no effect on healthy mice cells, according to the paper. The company will soon begin clinical trials that could be completed within "a few years" and would make the treatment available in specific cases, the Post reports.

OK,. sounds far-fetched for sure - an "antibiotic", sure-fire cancer treatment, cheap and taking only a few weeks to cure it? Could this be it?

Well, if anyone could do it, it'd be Israeli scientists; they're very good at this kind of stuff.

So the question is - if a cure for cancer be indeed developed in Israel and by the Jews, would Israel be finally stopped being called pariah state, apartheid state, parasite state, illegal state and would those who today call for Israel's destruction... would they finally stop it?

    No they won't.

They don't care about human lives, only their political agenda matters. This is why they're happy to encourage some poor schmuck, from the comfort of their western home, to blow himself up for the cause. They'll never actually do something about it themselves but they'll sure annoy the rest of us with their propaganda cut & paste job ad nauseam...

There is no financial incentive to be had by the medical community in a cure.

Of course there is. Cancer is only one untreatable disease and rich people die from it also. There's as much an incentive to cure cancer as there was to cure polio or small pox. But I'm not even sure this would work on all form of cancer. Defect in cell replication also happen as a natural effect of aging so I'm not sure it would work on very old people.

There is greater money to be had by the medical community in treating diseases with expensive drugs, than in developing a method of preventing the disease from ever developing. Too many pharmaceutical companies are too heavily invested in the manufacture, production, and distribution of chemotherapy drugs, to make a possible cure financially feasible.

Same could be said of any diseases. And it's the governments who'll be making the final decisions as the cost of healthcare reach an unsustainable level. They'll crack down on the big pharma. It's already started, which is why you can get low cost generics now. The big pharma need the government way more than the opposite. They can't sell any drugs without the government permission, while the government can seize patent and have the drug produced by other labs or even build their own.

Every strategic business owner knows that is business could be nationalized if they don't behave.

no of course not... the majority of people just mindlessly echo the haters without any consideration, it's a pitchfork mob. It will not matter if Israel save the entire planet...

Then perhaps the best course of action available is to simply allow the planet to perish.

Being cynic myself, I understand where you coming from; this thing, however, (if true) is too big to fail.

Which is precisely why it will fail. How long has science been claiming and promising that it is close to discovering and developing a cure for cancer, only for the end result to be nothing more than empty promises to generate support for more funding for what is ultimately nothing more than a futile endeavor?

Being the world benefactor, Israel will put the interests of humanity above these of pharmaceutical companies.

It is not a matter of being petty. It is a matter of being realistic.

Thing is, this drug will not eradicate cancer just like antibiotic haven't eradicated diseases. It'll cure you of your present cancer, but if at a later date you start producing cancer cells again, you'll need more. This drug only remove the possibility of death if you respond well to the drug.

It may replace chemo, which is in fact poison, and be as profitable in the long run.

It's a trick. It's a genocide drug, designed to kill Muslims.

We still need to drive Israel into the sea.

There are always stories like this every 6 months, but we can hope.

If true it's time to invest in asbestos. Incredible engineering material that unfortunately causes cancer.

If it's true, the whole world will have it and the FDA will have to test it for the next 40 years before they approve it here.

My father, grandfather and an uncle died of asbestos caused diseased. Their lungs had hardened to the point that the doctors couldn't even do a biopsy, the needle was unable to take a sample. Not a good way to die. And the disease can appear up to 40 years after exposure.

Sorry about your family. Most of my family has died from cancer but not asbestos related. Just out of curiosity how were they exposed? A guy my brother went to school with died at around age 30 from childhood exposure. Pipe insulation if I remember right.

I worked a summer as a teenager on an asbestos removal/replacement of suspended ceiling tiles in a large high school. Even with the precautions I don’t see how we weren’t exposed. I never heard but I’ll bet there were some lawsuits by former students.

In Quebec, the CSST (equivalent of OSHA) automatically compensate you if you are affected by asbestos in your past work experience. Asbestos was "protected" by the government (both federal and provincial) until recently. If you have to stop working you get about 80% of your current salary up until the age of retirement (65 years old) and at death your succession recieve about $80k Cdn.
