So what he has the Right to protest over his little touchy feely. You do understand that people have the Right to protest his dumbass. Give that mope some flak and treat him just like his was little (*)(*)(*)(*)(*). That they have the Right to speak out about and to the lametard. Now deal with that (*)(*)(*)(*) regardless if you don't like it or not. Then take that stupid (*)(*)(*)(*) and keep it on that back burner. Next time try and figure out.....no one stopped the dipstick, from protesting.
I'm sorry that you can't grasp how his opinion of the police is directly tied to his protest of the police. It's pretty straight-forward reasoning. Sure he does. He just doesn't have the right to represent the NFL, or use the NFL as a marketing tool. Right. No, they haven't. They haven't said much and are tip-toeing around the issue. Why do you make stuff up? With the thuggish behavior of a lot of NFL players....murder, domestic violence, drugs, prostitution....it's no wonder they don't like the police. It's just simply proof that money doesn't change a thug. Now I know you're going to go and try to say I'm calling the protestors thugs, and of course that's not true, but knock yourself out. This entire protest is about some make-believe narrative that cops are hunting black people in the streets, when we all know it's the reverse of that. Go ahead and question my service to my country. The only person that makes look bad is you and people like you. I'm not surprised.
Only to someone not able to see it. There IS a mistake...a big one. Neither are you...but that doesn't mean I cannot show you love. (Big hug and kiss) - - - Updated - - - Absolutely not...nor am I saying anyone is. He is protesting...and doing a damn fine job of it. He's certainly got people like you talking about it.
Seahawk players DID expand the protest...as did the players from several other teams. Kaepernick has the right to protest where he has been protesting. The NFL officials have indicated that it is permissible. Sorry you do not agree...but people like you are probably the reason Seahawk players DID expand the protest...as did the players from several other teams. Right. Not making anything up. They have said that the league would like all players to stand during the anthem...but that there are no rules against refusing to do so. You do YOU make stuff up? Whatever it is about...it is becoming more and more successful...and I suspect mostly because of people like you helping make it successful. I did not question your service to this country...which is mine as well as yours. I also served it. I honor and thank you for YOUR service. What I did question was your over-inflated (sorry Tom Brady) comment that your DD 214 shows you have been serving it all your life. Were you actually in service during your infancy...toddler days...your pre-adolescence...your days in high school? C'mon. Good.
They linked arms instead of sitting down. Even they knew what would happen if they stuck with the original plan. Bottom line is they are protesting something that is already achieving the opposite of what they hoped. They are protesting the police and taking a stance with BLM. I hope they enjoy the already increasing murder rate as police give them exactly what they want, and let the first season of Thugs Gone Wild start. Instead of focusing on this meaningless attempt at self-promotion of it's players, the NFL should be far more concerned with the criminal behavior of it's players. That's really their problem though, I'll leave it to them to ignore. The NFL is treading carefully on this issue, it's presumptuous to assume that the NFL condones, accepts, or will continue to allow their players to associate the NFL with BLM. As far as my service, most people understand that means your adult life, since I know few if any toddlers dedicated to doing anything. We'll see what happens as this continues.
Some did not just link arms in places...they knelt... ...or otherwise showed their solidarity with the protest. Okay...so you are one of those posters who want others to deal with what you meant...rather than what you wrote. I get that. But if it is okay with you...or even if it isn't okay with you...I will continue to deal with what you wrote. On that, we agree. I hope the disagreeable aspect of the protests are resolved in some way...without heavy-handedness on the part of the league. Like I have said...when the anthem is played, I STAND AT ATTENTION.
Good for them. Let them continue with the fantasy that their problem is the police and black oppression as they continue to rake in millions of dollars. Let Chicago, Baltimore and other cities sink into even more violence as the police respect their wishes and pull back. Incidentally, since my entire family have served, I suppose in a way I have served my entire life. I guess what I wrote was accurate.
Is there an owner with enough balls to put a stop to this treachery? If I was an NFL owner I would make it abundantly clear if you do not stand for the anthem you get cut.
teams can cut players anytime they want with out a reason, they still have to pay them the guarantee money but they can cut any player.
What you said definitely was NOT accurate. Your DD214 does NOT show you have served for your entire life. Get over the nonsense. - - - Updated - - - Oh, you would be such a tough owner. Words...they are so easy to write. Your players would have you for breakfast.
Have their owner for breakfast? Hmm and how would they go about that? As an owner you can cut any player you like as long as you pay them guaranteed money...there would be a line of players dying to get those positions.
Notice Bennet last night for the pats game did the "black power" fist pump? Also notice he was not thrown to one single time? Coach B knows best
IF the coaches or owners start that stuff with the players... ...the players will WIN the confrontation that ensues. Let 'em try. The best way to handle this is to let it die. If a player wants to sit or kneel during the anthem...it is his right to do so. Retaliation for doing what he has a right to do...is crap.
Doing what is right? Disrespecting your country on 9.11 is right, these are punk as thugs not professionals.
Cut them all.(from the team) There's always the CFL for them.Aye? Maybe they'll stand for "Oh Canada"
Do you read English with comprehension? MY GUESS: No...you do not. Are you able to read English with comprehension? MY GUESS: Not a chance. They may be punks and thugs in your eyes... ...but bottom line, they are professionals. Their profession is: Professional Football Players. - - - Updated - - - American conservatives: What is the most simplistic solution I can come up with for this "problem?" Okay...I choose that one.
If you did not mean "my entire life" why did you not use "my entire adult life?" But if it is necessary for your self-esteem, please continue to pretend you were not wrong on the DD 214 remark.
Because no one says "my entire adult life" since children typically don't have an occupation. Is that too hard to grasp?
Like I said...continue to pretend you were not mistaken in what you wrote. Anyone with reasonable ethical settings would simply have said, "Okay, I was wrong. But I think you knew what I meant. I'll try to be more careful in my wording." NOT YOU, THOUGH!

Yeah, I'm so very sorry for misleading everyone into believing I was serving my country at 10. I am really chagrined. Toodles.
