Ad hominem, personal attacks are irrational and not persuasive. Try again.
    You can do better. :)

I'm asking you to encapsulate what the solution is. Don't you have an answer?

Don't know about drug addiction or homeless, but as far as property crimes, Seattle is at the high end among major cities, but isn't totally out of line:
    https://www.seattletimes.com/seattl...e-the-nations-highest-rate-of-property-crime/

And for those of you wishing to try to make political hay out of this, consider the following facts:

    1. The 5 cities above Seattle in terms of property crime include 4 that are Dem run and 1 that is Republican run. But note that the Republican city (Tulsa) is the smallest of the five. Overall in the top 10, there are 8 Dem cities and 2 GOP ones, but the GOP ones are the two smallest.
    2. The 10 cities with the LOWEST rate of property crimes leans Democratic (6 Dem, 4 Rep). And the Dem cities include the two largest cities in the nation (New York and Los Angeles).

Overall, there isn't much data to support blaming either party for the cities they happen to control the administration of at the moment. Democrats dominate the list both at the top and the bottom, and it may have more to do with city size than the administration's political party.

You are a coward quite simply if you can condemn other cities but won't tell us how they handle the problem in your town/ state.

Good point. Aren't most large American cities Democratic anyway?

Because Republicans never do corrupt stuff in office?

People are people. There are bad apples in both parties. And in some places the party is so dominant that it's essential machine politics, which helps encourage and concentrate the bad apples. The actual party label is less relevant than the fact of that dominance.

That personal attack is a serious rule violation. Why do that unless you are tired of debating the issues?
Try to get a grip on your emotions and stick to substantive argument and facts. It always works better. :)

Why would anyone feel compelled to share personal information over the internet? Think.

Both those maps cover NINE YEARS of data. You put nine years of data on a map for any place with significant human population, and it will look covered. Way to mislead with data.

Nonsense. Republican pols are very corrupt but they do not run Americas Urban Hell Holes. The DP has had full control over these models of government failure.
Unless you are a complicit politician you should denounce every Democrat who has had a role in creating this mess.
Do you feel some solidarity with the corrupt pols who are responsible?

Are you afraid you'll be reported to the FBI? Everyone shares where they live because they are proud of where they live. I guess you're not, huh?

No, most people do not share their personal information online. We have hackers and FaceBook to do that for us.
Are we gong to have a problem here Carlos?

The problem is integrity, my friend. Put up or shut up, quite frankly. You don't answer direct questions on what the solution to homeless is and how it is handled where you live.

Solutions have already been proposed on this thread.
For some reason you remain remarkably unresponsive. ;-)

Excellent post! I don't usually watch long videos people post on here, but I watched this one from start to finish. Well worth it.

Impostors. Pathetic and demeaning to this forum. Either state your positions on fact and propose remedies or turn and run like pansies. Come on Trumped Republicans, we are waiting on your wisdom.

    Asked and answered.

"Given that it is an emergency start here:

    1. Arrest them for vagrancy.
    2. Disinfect, delouse and detox.
    3. Nutritionist designed diet.
    4. Psychotics transferred to mental hospitals
    5. Public work crew assignments for the able bodied.
    6. Job training for those with any aptitude for work." Ddy

Please stop attacking those on this thread who are trying to engage in this discussion.

Even though a solution is in the video that you don't seem to want to watch, I'll encapsulate it for you.

Homelessness is just the symptom. The disease is drug addiction.

The solution is intervention. Taking the drug addicts and drug dealers off the streets for lengthy periods of time.

That is, prison ... but with intensive treatment in prison and follow-up and continued treatment after release. They are doing it Rhode Island with very good results.

But then, you would already know that if you had watched the video.

Finally, and that is exactly what cities like Seattle are doing. And it costs money to care for so many people. The impulse here is to complain/ place blame rather than address the problem with reasonable solutions.

I watched the video and the other videos as well. What I question is the tendency to blame rather than enact policies. Everything is an opportunity to attack others. It's pointless.
