And we get vaxxed.... why? When I was a kid I was vaxxed for small pox... which killed millions. I still have the scar. I cot the vax and never looked back... no problem. So if the COVID vax DOESN"T WORK... why must we get it? Is there more to this than we know?

 

I'm going in for my second booster tomorrow. Wish me luck this one might prevent me from getting the actual covid that's going around atm.

Well the current reason they state is that it protects from being hospitalized or having a severe case. Now with that happening to such a low % anyway I'm not sure how true it is but many times they state that the ones in the hospitals are the unvaxxed

Because she's not on ventilator or dead? Unlike the 3 million who ARE been.sick or dead.....

 

This is probably a waste of my time, but it is the mutations in omicron that allow it to evade immune protection from both vaccination AND previous infection. This is no surprise, when you look at the map of location of those mutations:


The majority of them are right at the point of binding of the antibody.

Of course, I'd be surprised if a science based-argument would make a difference to the people who just want to shout: "The vaccines don't work, I told you so".

 

yes, the vaccine trains your immune system to fight the virus if\when you do get it

the vaccine does not act like a condom that repels the virus

could a variant mutate that the vaccine no longer covers... sure... but that would not be a failure of the vaccine

could your immune system be compromised and the virus still win, sure ... but that would not be a failure of the vaccine

I think anti-vaxxers already know all this, but pretend not to at this stage

 

I still can't believe we have people that don't know how the vaccines are designed to work. They were never designed to prevent you from getting or transmitting the virus.
They were designed to minimize the severity of the virus.

What if I told you that your body can mount a defense against a pathogen without the use of any antibodies?
I think the jury is still out about omicrons ability to completely evade natural immunity.

sure, vaccines work better for slower propagating virus's that are not airborne, but that is still what they do

I should say the immune system works better for those viruses, the vaccine do the same either way

all a vaccine does it train the immune system to attack a part of the virus, nothing more, it's up to ones immune system after that

Of course there are toxoid vaccines like for Tetanus or Diphtheria but they use and target toxin antigen, not the antigens of the pathogen.

 

I have received vaccinations for small pox, yellow fever, anthrax, typhus, typhoid and all the other things you get in the military. You get the vax and you don't get the disease. Apparently when you get the China Virus vax you can still get the disease... what's going on. That tells me it doesn't work.

 

You get vaxed and you still get sick.... it doesn't work despite all your pretty pictures. You get vaxed and you still get sick... unlike any other vax I ever heard of. This isn't rocket science... or artwork. Get vaxed and then get sick.... is this so difficult to understand?

 

nope, if you get the virus, your body fights it off, same with the small pox, yellow fever, anthrax, typhus, typhoid, ect vaccines

those are less contagious virus's, so your body has a better chance of fighting it off before you're contagious, airborne virus can spread before the body gets them under control, but the vaccine is still doing it's job, just the immune system can only do so much

 

So the CDC changing the definition of vaccine o0n their website was just a promo gimmick?

The Polio vaccine was just to reduce the symptoms and effects?

I'm not sure who you are trying to convince, but for me, it doesn't hold water.

 

Get vaxed and get sick... ok... we get it. I'm glad that no other vaccine works like this... you get vaxed for typhus, typhoid, small pox, measles, anthrax, yellow fever, etc and you DON'T get sick. Marvelous.

 

you still get those viruses, who told you that you could not, vaccines train your body to fight them off when you do get them

 

I had all the vax's you can think of in the military... not once did anyone ever hold that you'd still get sick... nope... you are wrong. All the other vax's keep you healthy... been there... done that... have the t-shirt.
