    We will find out just how much we need the world when we don't have the world's support. Think about it as other countries go their own way and don't support us
    when we fight our wars or side with China on political matters or when we want a UN resolution passed, which is already occurring.

    By your logic India should have a bigger economy than the US since it has 3 times more people than we do and they should be consuming more than America does

    But in fact most people on India are poor and many who are not want to come to get out

    The rich and the well educated create jobs for the poor and uneducated to fill

    Yup and some of us who are honest admitted that we may well have said or would say the same thing while drinking beer and goofing around or relaxing while fishing with our buddies. Most of us are not the POTUS.

    much different times
    when the US had its major influx of European immigration we were a growing expanding country in need of labor unskilled labor to help with the building and expanding of America
    and also we weren't a welfare state then it didn't cost the tax payer much if any for those immigrants to come as they did
    Now we aren't a expanding country we aren't in a dire need of labor and it massively cost the tax payer to allow massive amount of the unskilled to come here because of being a welfare state
