An interesting point about Petra, like Kailasa Temple in India is these were carved from the rock mountians.

They don't know where the rocks cut out of the mountain went.
The scrap piles of rocks are nowhere to be found.

Its sacred to Muslims.. and I'm not a Muslim. Why are you compelled to turn it into something negative?

Actually the kab'ba stone in Mecca is the only one suspected to be a meteorite.
It's the only one I heard of, I could be wrong.

It came from heaven a "Snow white pearl", but was handled by menstruating women.

Down the Hill, across the desert, was the Red sea, and a trade route.
    Mecca was desolate.

    Mecca has a natural spring.

Ancient bedu tribes in Palestine, Arabia and elsewhere carried their gods from place to place on a litter.

Mecca is about 1000 feet above the water level, It probably had a runoff fron the hills a certain time of the year.

Jack and Jill went up the hill to fetch a pail of water.
Sorry, the water is in the valley,

Water runs underground from West to East in KSA.. The whole peninsula tilts (and is still tilting) from West to East.

Its fossil water, however they have built some 300 recharge dams to capture groundwater.

Kuffar is actually the correct term when people misuse infidel.
    Infidel is a Christian term.

Not in the Meccan Qur'an, but during this time they are raiding the Polytheists.
    But everything changes.

and we are misusing the word.

Not really, they did elsewhere, but In the area we are speaking of, it was just the Muslims. They were the gang in charge.
Nothing is mentioned of anyone else raiding.
The only conquests were when the Kuzzas invaded the Jurimun. and then when the Qurash invaded the Kuzzas, however that was a couple hundred years earlier.

When the Muslims were thrown out of Mecca, and went to Yathrub, there were a dozen or so, including Muhammeds 8 year old wife.
The Jews of Yathrub took care of their refugees. It is from here Muhammed starting raiding Meccan caravans, and building an army.
He would need a few before he can conquer Mecca.
Here we run into a problem of numbers, contradicted in every text,
So we need to add in some common sense.

I'm actually going to get into this part when I continue on my other thread, but it takes time in front of the books.

Aisha was born before the Call.. What are you talking about? Are you confused?

There wasn't much of any army.. because the population of Arabia was tiny.

Abu Bakr, Ashias father was one of Muhammeds head guys, he was an original muslim.
He would later be the first Calief.
He gave up his daughter while in Mecca, at 6 years old.
    Muhammed took her to Yathrub.

and I agree, these numbers are different, and not very big, however we run into a problem when
we get into the battle of Badr, and later the conquest of Mecca.
The numbers are different in the different books. They run around 100 to 300, but don't quote me on that, I will give all of them when I do the other thread.
I don't make Interpretations, I just read the books.

Of course not. Joshua was probably a god, a sun god most likely, while his wife Rahab the prostitute might have been originally a fertility goddess.

Give me the source for the 75%. Meanwhile, spot the story of the Palestinian refugees on the same site where we are supposed to spot your version of events:
    https://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/history-and-overview-of-the-palestinian-refugees

Tell me notme, is an Arab whose grandfather came to Palestine from Morocco a member of the Palestinian nation, a Moroccan, or a Jordanian because his uncles settled in the territory of Palestine east of the Jordan river.

Yes, I know him. No, he does not consider himself a Palestinian. He says Palestinians are Bedouins, enemies of fellahin like his own family.

The ability of so many people to completely misread statistical data in order to confirm their own biases doesn't cease to amaze me. There's nothing in the data regarding the number of Arabs in Palestine during the British Mandate to indicate a common origin, common local ancestors, or any kind of historical connection of those Arabs with the land. There are testimonies to the contrary, starting to the complete lack on any evidence of any kind for the existence of a non-Jewish Palestinian nation throughout the centuries. Why are you so sure that the Arabs in Palestine during the British Mandate were the descendants of a non-Jewish Palestinian people living for centuries in Palestine, a people for whose existence there's no proof of any kind?

Anyway, even if a number of Arab families have lived in Palestine for centuries (and I'm quite sure there are some), that still doesn't make them a separate nation. Just like Jewish families who lived for two and a half millennia in the territory that became Iraq, are not a separate Jewish Iraqi nation. Or are they? Give us half of Iraq for the Iraqi Jews, with half of Baghdad as capital city.
